Gillingham vs AFC Fylde – Gillingham & BTTS No

The first leg of this tie ended in a 1-1 draw at Fylde, so the replay will be held at Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium. Gillingham have been really struggling this season and are at real risk of being relegated to the National League. They have lost three on the bounce in the league, but will likely put out a full strength side to try and go as far as they can in the cup to boost morale. 

Fylde are in the National League North, several league’s lower than League Two so Gillingham are the natural favorites. The last time these side met, however, Fylde had a home crowd behind them cheering them on and were able to force a replay. We don’t think they’ll be able to do the same again this time and the League Two side’s quality will shine through. 

Derby County vs Torquay – Derby & Over 2.5 Goals 

Derby were relegated from the Championship last season after going into administration and they signed some quality players this summer for League One.

They remain well within the mix for promotion this year and will have their eyes set back on the Championship. They are the heavy favorites here, with Torquay next to bottom in the National League. 

Despite Torquay forcing a replay in the last fixture, Derby have far too much quality in their squad and will surely come away as easy winners in front of their home crowd. 

Wimbledon vs Weymouth – Wimbledon & Over 2.5 goals 

Weymouth were another team to hold a Football League side to a draw and force a replay but again face the uphill task of playing away this time round. Weymouth have really struggled in the league this and they sit bottom of the National League South so the draw last time out was a real surprise. 

Wimbledon are currently 15th in League Two, but are coming into this game in good league form. They haven’t lost in any of their last five, winning three and look like a side starting to find their feet. With one team in poor form several divisions below and one looking difficult to beat in the football league there is clearly one winner here. Wimbledon should progress fairly easily.
