Fleetwood vs Bolton – Bolton 

Both teams are in patchy form of late but Bolton seem like the stronger team going in to this one. They have lost only once in their last five with a win to their name and they have remained well within the play-off conversation despite dropping off in form.

They are winless in three games in all competitions going in to this fixture so manager Ian Evatt will be looking for a response from his side to keep them within touching distance of the top. They sit 7th in the table, only three points off 4th, but another loss will close the gap to those snapping at their heels. 

Fleetwood are in stale form too. They have drawn three of their last five and have found it really hard to pick up wins all season. This being said, they do remain unbeaten in five going in to this game, so they will hope that they can pick up another good result. However, we don’t think this will be the case and Bolton will pick up a valuable three points on the road.

Burton vs Plymouth – Plymouth 

Plymouth are flying high at the top and visit a struggling Burton side in this leg of the FavFour. The Pilgrims are in excellent form and have extended their lead at the top of the table after going unbeaten in 14 in the league. They look like one of the favourites to go up this year so this one is a pretty easy pick.

Burton are really struggling at the bottom end of the table and look like one of the most likely to face the drop. They have won only one in their last five and have really struggled to pick up points both at home and away this season. A Plymouth win for this one.

Sheffield Wednesday vs Shrewsbury – Sheffield Wednesday

Another team flying at the top, Wednesday look like another team certain to be in the promotion mix come the end of the season. The Owls have kept pace with Plymouth and Ipswich throughout the season and have won three of their last five to put distance between themselves and 4th place. They were unlucky to lose to Premier League club Southampton on penalties in the EFL Cup last week and they will be coming into this fixture brimming with confidence. 

Shrewsbury’s season has looked vastly different in comparison. They have been mediocre at best for a majority of the campaign and they’ve slumped into extremely poor form in recent weeks. They have gone winless in their last five, with three losses, and remain within touching distance of the bottom of the pack. Wednesday should have a field day at home and pick up the three points.

Bristol Rovers vs Peterborough – Peterborough 

Peterborough are the final team in our FavFour who are having a good season. They sit in 4th place and are keeping up with the top of the pack. They come into this fixture in good form after winning three of their last five and will be looking to put more distance between them and those below them to solidify their play-off spot.

They visit a Bristol Rovers side who have struggled for consistency all season and are floating just above the relegation zone. They will have low confidence after only managing to pick up four points in their last five and should be relatively easy pickings for a high flying Peterborough side.
