The oddschecker team have picked out a 8/1 Sunday treble covering action in the World Cup.
13:00 Sunday
Belgium vs Morocco – Belgium win and under 3.5 goals
Belgium take on Morocco for their second group stage game and will be hoping to claim the victory to secure their place into the knockout stages.
Belgium were not very impressive in their narrow 1-0 victory over Canada and you can tell that they were missing the presence of their leading goalscorer in Lukaku. They face a Morocco side who do not score a lot themselves but did put in a spirited display against Croatia but lacked the quality in the final third.
We can see a Belgium win but they won’t blow out this Morocco side who are defensively sound.
16:00 Sunday
Croatia vs Canada – Both teams to score
Both of these teams need a win to stand any chance of qualifying and whilst the Canadian should a lot of attacking promise when they faced Belgium the lack of a clinical striker was evident but we are backing them to bounce back and grab a goal against this Croatia team.
Croatia are experienced pros and know that a win in this game will be needed but against this Canadian team it could easily turn into a shootout, so we are backing both teams to score despite neither team scoring yet.
19:00 Sunday
Spain vs Germany – Over 2.5 Goals and both teams to score
Two international super weights take on each other on Sunday and it is an important game for Germany who if they lose could face elimination in the group stage for a second successive World Cup campaign.
Germany’s defence is shaky at the best of times with Hansi Flick side conceding a goal in their last five games and facing a confident Spain side we can see a lot of goals in this one.
Spain put on a strong display against Costa Rica in their opening game, winning 7-0 but will face a different test against Germany who are capable of scoring goals.
We are going for over 2.5 goals and both teams to score in this one.
