The oddschecker team have picked out a 9/2 Sunday double covering action in the World Cup.
France vs Poland - France to Win & Both Team to Score
France have been one of the most exciting teams in the tournament so far and despite losing to Tunisia in their final group game, they remain the third favourites at a best price of 11/2 to retain the World Cup trophy.
They’ve looked particularly strong in attack with Dembele and Mbappe looking dangers off the wings and Olivier Giroud proving he still has what it takes to find the back of the net at the top level.
With that being said they are yet to keep a clean sheet at this World Cup and although Poland managed only two goals in their three group games, they’ll surely look to be more expansive in attack this time around with a quarter final place on the line.
If they do manage to get some good service to their talisman, Robert Lewandowski, then we wouldn’t be surprised to see Poland get on the scoresheet even if France’s superior quality shows over the course of 90 minutes.
England vs Senegal - England to win
England’s 2-0 victory over Wales in their final group game feels like it has got Gareth Southgate’s side back on track after a disappointing goalless draw against the United States. England face Senegal in order to set up a Quarter Final date with holders France and England fans will be expecting a comfortable win here.
The victory over Wales illustrated England’s strength in depth, with the likes of Marcus Rashford and Phil Foden starring to secure the win. The energy that they brought into the side should serve England well as they face Senegal.
With the momentum from their final group game we expect England to run out comfortable winners in the round of 16.
