The oddschecker team have picked out a 4/1 Friday double covering action in the World Cup quarter finals.
Brazil to win to nil
Four goals in 30 minutes against South Korea secured Tite’s Brazil a spot in the last eight on Monday evening. The 2/1 outright favourites now face Croatia as they bid to reach the semi-finals for the first time since they were crowned champions in 2002.
While it's the attacking line that have been capturing the headlines, Brazil’s defence has looked as solid as anyone’s so far this tournament conceding just two in four matches, one when a much changed XI faced Cameroon and the other once the result was already secured against South Korea.
Meanwhile, Croatia have played out two goalless draws in four matches only finding attacking fluency during a 4-1 win over Canada. Zlatko Dalić’s aging side haven’t showed enough attacking intent to lead us to believe they can get a result against the tournament favourites so we are predicting a Brazil win to nil here.
Argentina to win
The Netherlands are unbeaten in the competition so far, scoring eight and conceding two in the process. With that being said they haven’t faced the same quality of opposition as their opponents on Friday evening.
After a faltering start against Saudi Arabia, Argentina have found a way to win in the next three showing an ability to control the game in the process. It’s set up to be a fascinating encounter but with a growing momentum, belief and their captain in scintillating form we are keen to get Argentina on side at odds-against.
