Crystal Palace vs Fulham – Crystal Palace & Over 2.5 Goals

Marco Silva’s Fulham travel to Selhurst Park for their opening fixture since the World Cup and both teams will have their eyes on potentially grabbing a European spot.

Both teams have 19 points from their opening games and while there has been a lot of praise for Fulham, Patrick Viera’s Palace have certainly gone under the radar.

Palace like playing at Selhurst Park with all their Premier League wins this season coming at home and Fulham are not the best travelers with the Cottagers only picking up one away win league win this season.

We can expect goals with both sides having attacking talent but we think Crystal Palace’s home form will see them over the line, so we are going for a Palace win and over 2.5 goals.

Bristol City vs West Brom – West Brom

West Brom have been in fine form since the appointment of Carlos Corberan and put together a run of five successive wins. Their last game was a 1-0 loss to Coventry, but it was only a 93rd-minute penalty which saw the Baggies winning run come to an end.

Bristol City are the entertainers of the Championship having scored 31 goals and conceded 32 goals so far this season. Coming up against a West Brom team with a lot of attacking talent, this could be a cause for concern.

Nigel Pearson’s men have also struggled at Ashton Gate having not one there since the middle of October. Due to this we fancy West Brom to walk away with a win here and with the Baggies not being odds-on-favourites for this tie it certainly has the added value.

Preston vs Huddersfield – Preston

Preston are fighting for a position in the top six and will certainly fancy themselves against basement boys Huddersfield on Boxing Day.

Ryan Lowe’s men have one of the best defences in the Championship, conceding just 22 goals this season in 23 games. They face a Huddersfield side low on confidence who have only managed to pick up one win in their last five games.

We fancy Preston to get one over on Huddersfield and carry on their top six charge.
