Arsenal to beat Newcastle

Arsenal are flying high at the top of the table and look on track to win their first title in 19 years. They are on a 10 game unbeaten run in the league and will be looking to extend that when 3rd place Newcastle visit the Emirates. 

Before Newcastle's 2-0 win over Arsenal at the end of last season, Arsenal had won six in a row against them in the Premier League without conceding - scoring 14 times. 

Only City and Liverpool scored more home goals than Arsenal in the league and Only United and Chelsea have conceded fewer home goals than Arteta's side. The stats lean towards another Arsenal win. 

Brighton to beat Everton 

Brighton look set to compete for European football this year, even after the departure of Graham Potter to Chelsea and are set to take on Everton at Goodison Park on Tuesday evening. 

Everton have been struggling all season and have managed just seven goals in eight home matches in the league. Only Wolves have a worse home scoring record (five in nine) and this is just one if several reasons they are in the relegation mix this season. 

Brighton on the other hand are playing incredibly well and are 5th for points accumulated on the road (13 from eight matches) - only the league's current top four have more. 

Infact, they have been so good on the road that their only away defeat outside of London was against City (other two against Fulham and Brentford). That shows the task Frank Lampard’s side face when they come up against the Seagulls.

Leicester to beat Fulham

Even though they had a bit of a slow start to the season, Leicester have the fifth best home defensive record in the league. In fact, 21 of the 30 goals they've conceded have been on the road so Fulham face a tough task when they visit the King Power. 

The Foxes had won four of their last five matches going into the break before starting up again with tough matches against Newcastle and Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers' side will be looking to get back to winning way once again and put distance between themselves and the bottom of the pack. 

Unfortunately for Fulham, Vardy scored twice in this fixture in 2019/20 (3-1 win for Leicester) and he is likely to start again with Patson Daka getting injured at Anfield.

Man United to beat Bournemouth 

United have had a really good defensive record all season and their xG conceded only 0.63 against Forest and 0.60 against Wolves since the restart. Infact, only United and Newcastle are teams who have not conceded in the two games since restarting. 

This leans towards an easy United win. Bournemouth are 20th for big chances created across the season and will be unlikely to test out De Gea in the United net.  

Going forward, United look a threat too. Rashford already has three more goal involvements in 2022/23 than the whole of the 2021/22 season and looks to be back to his best under Erik Ten Hag.
