Bristol City vs Swansea – Swansea to win

Swansea travel to Ashton Gate in Sunday’s early FA Cup kick-off with a place in the fourth round up for grabs. It looks a competitive affair on paper with Swansea perhaps edging it in terms of recent form with bookmakers making them a 6/4 favourites to win.

Both sides managed to get on the scoresheet last time out in the league but failed to take maximum points and find themselves in the bottom half of the Championship. The spoils were shared last time these two met but we are expecting Swansea to edge it here based on recent form and progress into the fourth round.

Stockport County vs Walsall – Stockport to win

Despite losing last time out and finding themselves four places adrift of Walsall in the League, bookmakers make Stockport the odds-on favourites to progress on Sunday afternoon. While it looks a well matched fixture on paper, Stockport had the measure of Michael Flynn’s side when they just over a week ago at the Banks’s stadium.

Walsall appear to be up against it to reverse the form without home advantage in their favour and face a Stockport team that had won four on the bounce in all competitions before a loss last time out. We are backing Stockport to justify favouritism and get the win against their league rivals.

Hartlepool vs Stoke – Stoke to win

Our final selection comes from one of the bigger mismatches in this round of FA Cup fixtures as Stoke travel to League Two side Hartlepool. While Stoke aren’t in great form having lost their last two they understandably find themselves as odds-on favourites to progress here.

Hartlepool have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last three matches and against Championship standard opposition that looks set to continue. We expect Alex Neil’s side to win this one comfortably.
