The first leg of our treble sees two over performing teams come face to face in a game that could go either way.

Newcastle are in hot form and have managed to stay within the top four for the majority of the season. They remain only nine points off league leaders Arsenal and the fans believed they have a real chance of qualifying for the Champions League this season.

Although their form has dropped off slightly in recent weeks, with back to back draws, Eddie Howe’s side have now gone 13 unbeaten in the league and look difficult to beat.

They host a Fulham side who themselves are overperforming this year and, after a historic 2-0 win vs Chelsea on Thursday night, will come into this game with a massive amount of confidence.

However, the last time these sides met, Newcastle ran away as 4-1 winners after an early Nathaniel Chalobah red card. In front of a packed out St James’ Park, we think Newcastle should win this one.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace – Chelsea

The pressure has been building on Graham Potter for the past few weeks and it didn’t get any better for him on Thursday night at Craven Cottage. A pathetic display topped by a debut red card form Joao Felix has made even the most patient of fans start to ask questions.

They host Palace next and Potter will see this as a must win. However, this is no easy task. Patrick Vieira’s side have looked well drilled all year and have been a real threat in the final third but have found it hard to grind out results at times.

They sit 12th in the league and don’t have too many aspirations for the rest of the season nor are in any immediate danger of relegation. With this in mind we think Chelsea we think Chelsea will just about grind a result out of this one.

Tottenham vs Arsenal – Arsenal

The last leg of our Super Sunday treble features the North London derby. In recent years, this game has been full of controversy and could be decided almost by the flip of a coin. This year, we don’t think this will be the case.

Yes, there will be a certain amount of controversy and refereeing decisions can determine the outcome of the game but we can’t see anything other than an Arsenal win for this one.

The Gunners are top of the league and have been proving many critics wrong this season by standing strong competing against the top six.

In contrast, Spurs have been really poor for the majority of the season and although they have the tendency to grind out results at times, they have been underwhelming in the big matches. We can see this happening again and this one will end in an away win.
