The oddschecker team have picked out a 5/1 Monday treble covering action from the Premier League, La Liga and the Serie A.
19:45 Monday
Inter Milan vs Empoli – Inter
The first leg of our Monday treble sees Inter host 12th places Empoli. Although the visitors come into this game in good form, going unbeaten in five, Inter will come into this fixtures in even more confidence off the back of their Supercoppa Italiana final victory over rivals AC Milan last week.
Although we do think the host will put up a fight, we cant see them claiming on points on the road here. We’re backing Inter to win this one and make in 10 unbeaten in all competitions.
20:00 Monday
Fulham vs Tottenham – BTTS
This one is a hard call. Both teams are competing around the same position in the table but will be feeling very different about this. Spurs are drastically underperforming and have been in bad form in recent weeks. They have lost three of their last five and have only picked up four points, calling into question their ability to compete this year.
Fulham are having a different year and are over performing. They have won four of their last five and will come into this thinking they can walk away with all three points. However, despite Spurs’ poor form they have undeniable talent within their ranks that can win a game on their own. Because we think this one is too hard to pick between, well go with both teams to score for this one.
20:00 Monday
Valencia vs Almeria – Valencia to Nil
Valencia and Almeria are battling it out in mid table in La Liga and the sides have only one point separating them. They both come into this one is poor form, with only one win a piece in their last five so they will see this one as a must win to distance themselves from the drop and look upwards rather than downwards.
We can see this one being a cagey affair that could be settled by a singular goal. With Valencia the home team, they have the home crowd advantage so we’ll go with a Valencia win to nil for this one.
