The oddschecker team have picked out a 7/1 Tuesday treble covering action from the Championship, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
19:45 Tuesday
Birmingham vs Blackburn – Blackburn
The first leg of our Tuesday treble sees two out of form teams come head to head. Blackburn drew their first game of the season vs Bristol last week to maintain their promotion hopes this year.
After a turbulent season which has seen them win 14 and lose 13 so far, they sit 5th in the table only two points off Sheffield United. However, they have had a bad run of form in recent weeks, with three losses in their last five and will not come into this in the best form.
Their opponents, Birmingham, come into this one is even worse form. The Blues have lost five in a row in the league and are at a real risk of relegation in 19th. The last tie between these two finished 2-2 in an irregular draw for Blackburn but we don’t see the same again. We think Blackburn may just have too much quality for Birmingham in this one and will qualify for the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Luton vs Cardiff – Luton
Luton are the clear favourite coming into this. After four wins in their last five, Rob Edwards side are well within the play-off mix this season and are really starting to come into their own for the business end of the year. They sit 7th, only three points off Sheffield United so will see this as a real chance to close the gap on those above.
Cardiff are having the complete opposite year. They clinging on to survival by their skin of their teeth and come into this game in terrible form. They are without a win since early November so we cant see them putting up too much of a fight against one of the league’s in form teams. A Luton win for this one.
20:00 Tuesday
Newcastle vs Southampton – Newcastle
The final game of our treble features the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final between Newcastle and Southampton.
The first leg was a close affair which was only decided by the single goal and Southampton will feel like they’ve missed their chance to reach the cup final. They competed for the majority of the game but a late Joelinton goal may have been a nail in the coffin for the Saints.
This leg will be in front of a packed out St. James’ Park and Newcastle will be coming into it with immense confidence. They sit 3rd in the table and are unbeaten in 16 in the league. We think Newcastle will stand up to the challenge and will book their place at Wembley.
