Man United vs Nottingham Forest – Man United win

Manchester United host Nottingham Forest for the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final. They hold a 3-0 advantage against their opponents and look certain to qualify. We could see a rotated United XI following their first-leg success, but Erik ten Hag will be keen to book their place in style.

Nottingham Forest, however, have nothing to lose following their first-leg defeat. They need to score some goals if they want any chance of going through to the final.

We don’t think they’ll be able to do so at the Theatre of Dreams, and we think Manchester United will get the victory on the night in this one.

Real Betis vs Barcelona – Barcelona to win to nil

Real Betis play Barcelona for the second time in a space of a month, with the visitors having already knocked Betis out in the Spanish Super Cup on penalties in early January.

Betis might be keen for revenge, and a win would take them level on points with Atletico Madrid in fourth place.

Barcelona, however, are top of the league, clear of their nearest challengers Real Madrid by five points, and have not failed to win in their last three La Liga matches, winning each of them by a goal to nil.

Despite their 2-2 draw in early January, we think it’ll be a low-scoring affair, potentially another 1-0 scoreline for Xavi’s men, so we think Barcelona win it and bring a clean sheet back home with them.

Lens vs Nice – Lens win

High-flying Lens face Nice in Ligue 1, with the hosts looking to continue to chase PSG.

Lens have the second longest unbeaten streak in the league, second to Reims, and despite drawing away to Troyes in their last one, we think they’ll be back at it again.

Their opponents Nice are sitting in 10th, but have only lost one of the last 11 in the league. They will want to keep their good run going to move them up the table after their poor start to the campaign.

However, we think Lens, who have only lost once in Ligue 1, will win again and continue their pursuit of the perennial champions PSG.
