George Gamble has shared his 5/1 Both Teams to Score Acca featuring Saturday's Premier League action.
12:30 Saturday
Norwich City vs Burnley
Carrow Road plays host to this entertaining lunchtime kick off in the Championship as league leaders Burnley look to take another step towards promotion.
Norwich have been flying under boss David Wagner having won back-to-back league games and scoring four goals on each occasion. Both of those came on the road and the new manager will be eager to take charge of his first home game.
The only blemish across the visitors last 12 matches was a loss away to Manchester United in the league cup, but they have drawn one, won 10 of the others and will feel confident they can burst the Norwich City bubble, particularly as they have hit the back of the net in all but one of their 13 away games.
Both of these sides will want to claim an all important win and both have the firepower to do it, but Burnley, despite playing some excellent football, have conceded in nine of their 13 away games so far this season and I think they could do so again here as both teams get on the scoresheet.
15:00 Saturday
Aston Villa vs Leicester City
The Unai Emery era is well underway at Villa Park as they’ve now secured five league victories under his tutelage. But they do like to do it the hard way when you consider both teams have hit the back of the net in all of their last five home competitive games. Their inability to keep clean sheets could be a problem and despite Leicester City’s lowly position, they still have a habit of scoring.
The Foxes sit 14th in the table but they’re in the fortunate position of not having to worry about scoring as they have managed to slot in nine of their 10 away league outings. Their issues are defensively and I think they’ll struggle to contain Aston Villa here for the full 90 minutes.
Both of these outfits look much more confident in attacking areas than they do trying to prevent their opponents from scoring and with that in mind, I feel that this one has both teams to score written all over it.
15:00 Saturday
Brentford vs Southampton
Brentford have had some time off after their early exit in the FA Cup. It means they should be fit and raring to go ahead of their match against relegation-threatened Southampton and Thomas Frank will be expecting nothing less than a win.
The hosts have been fairly prolific on home soil this term, netting in eight of their 10 home matches and only failing to do so against Chelsea and Arsenal. It seems inevitable that at some point, the Bees will find a way through a Southampton side that has conceded in all but one of their 10 away league outings.
The Saints have been nothing short of awful this season and their defensive woes are there for all to see. However, I do think they can cause problems going forward and considering they’ve got on the scoresheet in six of their last seven away matches in all competitions, including against sides such as Newcastle and Liverpool, they may create some good goal scoring chances here.
Brentford should win but both teams to score looks a solid selection here.
