Sunderland vs Fulham – Over 1.5 Goals

With the last of the FA Cup 4th Round replays taking place on Wednesday, with Fulham traveling to Championship side Sunderland in the North East, we think this has the potential to be a minor upset.

Sunderland picked up two draws on their last two visits to London to face Fulham in the first game and Millwall in the Championship. They return to the Stadium of Light with inconsistent home form, having won four times in their last eight, the other four being defeats. They did win their last home game against Middlesbrough but have not won consecutive games at home all season.

As for Fulham, a bright run of wins seems to have evaporated, with no wins since their 2-1 win over 10 men Chelsea. They have one goal in their last four, which came against the Black Cats, and they will need to up their game if they are to progress.

This one is too tough to call, so we think we’ll play it safe and go for over 1.5 goals, just like the first game between these two sides.

Manchester United vs Leeds – Man Utd win + Over 3.5 goals

Manchester United host historic rivals Leeds in what we expect to be a goal rush. In the last four fixtures between these sides over the last two seasons, there has been 20 goals, which included a 0-0.

The last game between the two sides at Old Trafford ended with six goals last season, in a 5-1 win for the Red Devils. Manchester United have also won the last 13 games at Old Trafford in all competitions, and have only failed to win twice in the Premier League on home soil.

In a major contrast, Leeds have only won four times in the league, and have failed to score in their last two. They have kept just one clean sheet on the road, and that run of form has ultimately cost Jesse Marsch his job. The managerial hunt is still on for the American’s successor, but with the current chaos at Elland Road, we could see another game with plenty of goals.

We think Manchester United will get the victory as they have done so often at home this season, and we think there will be over 3.5 goals in the game, as there has been in three of the last four fixtures between these two.

Marseille vs PSG – Marseille to win in 90 minutes

The last game from our Wednesday treble sees PSG travel to Marseille in the big match from the Coupe de France.

Marseille have gone 33 years without a Coupe de France trophy, but did lose their last final, in 2016, to the visitors today. They are currently sitting below PSG in the Ligue 1 table, and today would give them a perfect opportunity to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Nice at the weekend.

As for PSG, they have been somewhat inconsistent in the league, winning three of the last six games. They have won their last two though, and have a bit of form coming into this one.

Kylian Mbappe, who scored five goals in their last French Cup game, is missing from the lineup, as he is out with an injury, which might give the hosts some hope of progressing. However, with Lionel Messi still present, the Parisians should have enough quality to put up a challenge.

With that in mind, we think it’ll be a close game, but we think the hosts will win this one in 90 minutes, progressing them into the next round of the Coupe de France.
