Leicester vs Arsenal – Arsenal 

The first leg of our FavFour sees table toppers Arsenal travel to the midlands to face Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City. After a terrible start to the season, which threatened to draw them into a relegation battle, they have turned their form around and have clawed their way up the table off the back of several good results. 

They come up against an Arsenal side who were fortunate to regain top spot after City dropped points last week and they will be playing to retain it again this week. After that devastating loss at the hands of City the week before, Mikel Arteta will have really got the message into his players that it’s in their hands this season and we think they’ll respond to this. An Arsenal win to retain top spot for this one.

Leeds vs Southampton – Leeds 

The second game of our FavFour features a relegation battle between Leeds and Southampton. Both teams have recently parted ways with their managers, with the latter yet to appoint a replacement. 

The pair sit 19th and 20th in the league so they will see this one as a six pointer, with the winner most likely to survive. Unfortunately for the Saints, we think Leeds have just about got their new manager in on time and could see a new manager bounce – a Leeds United win for this one to all but seal Southampton’s fate.

Burnley vs Huddersfield – Burnley 

We move into the Championship for our third game of the FavFour. Burnley are sitting pretty at the top and look set to reclaim their spot in the Premier League after just one season.

They have gone unbeaten in their last 13 games in all competitions and are unbeaten at home all season. They have won 12 and drawn five times at Turf Moor, really making their home ground a fortress this year. 

They face a Huddersfield side who are level on points with bottom place. They have won only two games away from home all season and we can’t see this changing on their visit to the league leaders. Burnley to win this one comfortably.

Sheffield United vs Watford – Sheffield United 

The final game of our FavFour sees two promotion hopefuls go head to head. Second place Sheffield United host 7th place Watford in a clash that could mix up the play-off picture. 

Watford remain only two points off 4th place and a massive win on the road at Bramall Lane would really boost their hopes. They come into this game looking to make it five unbeaten but have struggled to finish games off in recent weeks. 

To their delight, Sheffield United have also had a slip of form in recent weeks, losing their last two games in the league. However, they still remain a solid 2nd place and look like another team set to reclaim their Premier League status.

Sheffield United have been pretty formidable at home for the majority of the season and we expect them to get over this little bump and show why they are challenging at the top. A Sheffield United win for the final game of our FavFour.
