Bologna vs Inter Milan – Inter Milan 

The first leg of our treble sees Serie A giants Inter Milan travel to Bologna for the early kick off. Bologna have been in good form of late and have only been beaten once in their last five, climbing to 8th in the league. They’ll be a tough game for Inter. 

However, the Milan club are also coming into this game in good form, they won three of their last five and look like the team to take home 2nd spot this year behind Napoli. Bologna lost their last home game against Monza and we can see the same result here against a much stronger Inter side. An away win for the first leg of our treble.

Tottenham vs Chelsea – Tottenham 

Both these side have had turbulent seasons so far, but Chelsea are in the worse form by far coming into this. The Blues having won in five in all competitions and are on the brink of elimination from the Champions league to Dortmund. Fans are already starting to turn on Potter so the pressure really is on Chelsea for this one. 

Unfortunately for them, Spurs have looked good against the top teams this year. They were able to beat city 1-0 earlier this month and we can see them approaching this in the same manner. They have just leap frogged Newcastle into the top four and with Champions League qualification on the line, we think they’ll do just about enough to walk away with three points from this one.

Man Utd vs Newcastle – Man Utd 

The final game of our Sunday treble features the Carabao Cup final between Manchester United and Newcastle. The Toone side have been one of the over achievers so far this year and have been competing for the Champions League spots for most the campaign. Sadly for them, their form has dipped a little in recent weeks and they have fell out the top four for the first time all season. Not the best form coming into a cup final. 

United, on the other hand, have really come good of late. They had a terrible start under Ten Hag’s leadership but he has more than steadied the ship. They have climbed to 3rd and have become genuine title contenders, have knocked Barcelona out of Europe and remain in both domestic cups, with a chance to win the quadruple. With the Red Devils coming into this in such good form and with their stars firing on all cylinders, its hard to see anything other than a United win for this one.
