Stoke vs Brighton – Brighton in 90 minutes

The first game of our treble sees Premier League side Brighton travel north to face Stoke City in the FA Cup. The Seagulls are flying this season and are competing for the European positions along side Fulham and Brentford. They’ve won only two of their last five games in the league, but will still come into this the more confident, knowing they have the better team. 

Stoke are competing down the bottom end of the Championship and run the real risk of being drawn into a relegation battle. With this in mind, we think Brighton will win this one.

Fulham vs Leeds – Fulham in 90 minutes

The second game of our treble features an all Premier League affair between Fulham and Leeds in the FA Cup. Fulham have been overperforming this year and are well in the mix for European football this year. Their form has dropped off in recent weeks a little, but they remain dangerous nonetheless. 

Leeds have struggled for the majority of the season and are still at risk of relegation to the Championship. The recent sacking of Jesse Marsch and appointment of Javi Gracia has given them a slight manager bounce in their most recent performance against Southampton, but it is yet to be seen if this can carry over. However, for this one we do feel Fulham are the better team and will get it over the line.

Preston vs Coventry – Preston 

We head to the Championship for our final game of Tuesday’s treble. 11th placed Coventry travel to 12th placed Preston in a game that will be a close call. Both sides have had fairly similar seasons, in fact only three points separates the pair. 

A win for Preston would take them level on points with Coventry, but they will remain behind them on goal difference. Both teams remain in touching distance of the play-off positions, so the winner of this one could have a real chance of getting in the promotion mix. 

With the home crowd advantage for this one, we feel Preston will be that team.
