Chelsea face Borussia Dortmund who have a slender one-goal advantage in the second leg of this last-16 Champions League affair.

Chelsea’s attacking woes have been well documented and despite a 1-0 victory over Leeds, Potter’s men have only managed to pick up three wins in 2023, raising questions as to whether Potter is up for the task at Stamford Bridge.

Huddersfield are currently bottom of the Championship after suffering successive 4-0 defeats to Burnley and Coventry City. Out of the 31 points the Terriers have acquired so far this season, 21 one of those have come on home turf and Neil Warnock will know that he needs to win games like this.

Bristol City will be looking to bounce back after a 2-0 defeat to Cardiff on the weekend, which saw their nine-match unbeaten run come to an end, leaving the club 11 points adrift of the playoffs yet still holding a match in hand on many of the teams above them.

We think with confidence low in the Terriers’ squad and Bristol City having more attacking quality within their ranks, Nigel Pearson’s men will bounce back from the weekend’s defeat to win this one.

Barnsley vs Portsmouth – Barnsley

Two in-form sides take each other on when Portsmouth travel to Oakwell to take on Barnsley.

Barnsley are currently in the last playoff position in League One and this is thanks to an undefeated run of eight games in which they have won six and drawn two. They will be looking to claim a fourth consecutive home victory on Tuesday and hold the second best defence in League One, having conceded just 28 goals in 32 games.

Portsmouth, meanwhile, are unbeaten in five matches, and they edged out Cambridge United on Saturday to claim a third consecutive victory.

Both teams have presented themselves as hard to beat in recent weeks but we think Barnsley will just edge this close encounter.
