Manchester City vs RB Leipzig – Manchester City & Both Teams to Score (90 minutes)

Following their 1-1 draw in the first leg in Germany, Manchester City host RB Leipzig in their Champions League Round of the 16-second leg.

Manchester City have won their last three games without conceding since the first leg, getting past Bristol City in the FA Cup, and beating Newcastle and Crystal Palace in the Premier League. However, in their three previous fixtures against the Germans, they haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of them.

Only three keepers in the Premier League have a worse save percentage than Ederson, City’s number one, and if Leipzig get chances, they might find the back of the net like they did three times on their last visit to the Etihad last season.

The visitors have lost just twice in all competitions since September, scoring in 23 of their last 24 games. With the home advantage, Leipzig will be in for a tough game but will be confident in attack, which they’ll need to be against a strong Manchester City side.

We think the hosts will prevail and they’ll be goals for both teams in this one.

FC Porto vs Inter Milan – Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 goals (90 minutes)

The second Champions League tie of the evening sees Inter Milan travel to the Estádio do Dragão to face Porto.

Inter hold a slender 1-0 win over their opponents, so Porto will need to score if they can progress to the quarter-finals. Prior to their first leg, they had won 19 of their last 22 games in all competitions, and have won their last two.

Both former winners of this competition, Inter Milan have not reached the quarter-finals since 2011, where they lost to Schalke. They did exit this stage last season to eventual runners-up Liverpool and will want to take their spot and join city rivals AC Milan in the next round.

With Porto needing goals, we think their approach will be very forward, and it could be a very open game leading to goals from both teams, which is why we think both teams will score and there will be over 2.5 goals in 90 minutes.

Middlesbrough vs Stoke – Middlesbrough

The final game from our Tuesday treble moves to Teesside where Stoke travel to for their game against Middlesbrough.

The hosts came back from going a goal down to win 3-1 away at Swansea, meaning they have now won seven of their last eight games and their last seven at home in the league, conceding just a single goal from their last five.

Stoke have won their last two in the Championship, nervously getting past Blackburn despite a late charge from the visitors in that one.

Their last travels resulted in a romp at Sunderland, beating the Black Cats 5-1, and will fancy their chances against an inform Boro.

However, we think the hosts will take all three points to boost their automatic promotion chances, with them sitting currently four points behind Sheffield United. Stoke have moved up the table and might prove strong opposition, but Middlesbrough to win is our thinking here.
