Football Accumulator Tips: Saturday's 11/1 FavFour backs Wrexham win

Portsmouth vs Port Vale - Portsmouth

Darrell Clarke’s Port Vale travel to Fratton park to face an in-form, free scoring Portsmouth to kick start the FavFour.

John Mousinho’s men are currently sitting seven points outside the playoffs and know that every home game will be vital for Pompey going forward. Luckily, Fratton Park has been a fortress for Mousinho with his side last tasting defeat at home all the way back in December.

Port Vale have won just two of their last 13 league games, but currently have built up a nine-point gap between them and the relegation zone.

Clarke’s men have also lost 50% of their away games this season, and that run looks set to continue this weekend, so we are going to go for a Portsmouth win.

Doncaster vs Northampton – Northampton

Northampton will be looking to gain ground in the automatic playoff places when they travel to a mid-table Doncaster on Saturday.

Northampton’s form did take a dip in but the Cobblers are back close to their best in recent weeks with Jon Brady’s men winning their last three games on their last four games.

Doncaster are on the other end of the spectrum form wise with the Rovers having only won one, drawn two, and lost two of their last five matches.

We fancy Northampton to continue their promotion-chasing form against a struggling Doncaster team.

Grimsby vs Walsall – Grimsby

The next leg of the FavFour sees a mid-table clash when Walsall travel to Blundell Park to face Grimsby.

After their valiant FA Cup run came to end last Sunday, Grimsby faced promotion-chasing Mansfield and managed to pull off an impressive 0-0 draw.

Paul Hurst’s men have been pretty steady in the league with them winning two of their last four and drawing the other two.

Walsall are coming off the back of a 2-0 victory over Gillingham last weekend but their away is left than to be desired with Michael Flynn’s men have failed to win any of their last six away matches.

We fancy Grimsby to get a win here against a Walsall side who struggle away from Banks's Stadium.

Wrexham vs York City -  Wrexham

Wrexham are flying in the National League with the Welsh club sitting top of the league and they face lowly York City on the weekend.

The Racecourse Ground has been a fortress for Phil Parkinson’s men with his side only tasting defeat once at home this year in the National League and they face a York City side who have only won five away games in the league all season.

It should be business as normal for the Hollywood club when these two sides face so we are backing a Wrexham win.
