Leicester vs Aston Villa – Both teams to score

On the back of contrasting results at the weekend, managerless Leicester City and Aston Villa take to the King Power turf for Tuesday's Premier League contest.

The Foxes suffered a gut-wrenching 2-1 defeat last time out to Crystal Palace and this was enough for the Foxes board to dismiss Brendan Rodgers.

Leicester have been struggling recently with a miserable five defeats and one draw to show from their last six Premier League games, because of this poor run for form Leicester have now dropped below the dotted line into 19th place.

Conceding goals has been an issue for Leicester all season with the Foxes conceding 49 goals this year, but they have also managed to score 39 goals as well and have seen both teams to score in their last three Premier League games. 

Villa are in contrasting form as Unai Emery’s men kept up their phenomenal streak of scoring in every single game under Emery - a run which now stands at 17 matches - Villa have taken 13 points from the last 15 on offer in the Premier League; only leaders Arsenal with a perfect 15 can better the Lions' exploits in that regard.

We see this as a must-win for both teams for very different reasons and expect both sides to get on the score sheet.

Bournemouth vs Brighton – Brighton win and both teams to score

Bournemouth play host to Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday evening with the opportunity to move significantly away from the Premier League relegation zone.

Gary O'Neil's side appear to have turned a corner, collecting nine points from six matches with victories over Wolverhampton Wanderers, Liverpool and most recently Fulham. The Cherries have lost just one of their last five games at their home ground.

Having lost just once in 10 matches in the Premier League in 2023, it would be wrong to overly criticise Brighton's recent form, but Roberto De Zerbi will feel as though his team are missing opportunities to cement a top-six spot.

Brighton's away form has been outstanding since the end of October, collecting 12 points from six games, although their last three visits elsewhere have ended in a share of the spoils.

We are backing Brighton's superior quality to shine through in what should prove to be an entertaining fixture.

Chelsea vs Liverpool – Liverpool Double Chance

Two faltering behemoths come to blows in Tuesday's Premier League battle at Stamford Bridge, as managerless Chelsea play host to Liverpool on the back of demoralising defeats for both sides.

There has not been a winner in 90 minutes during the last five meetings between Chelsea and Liverpool, and that streak of stalemates could very well become six on Tuesday evening, even if those in blue are buoyed by a change in management.

While Bruno Saltor and Jurgen Klopp should not be averse to making a few changes, backing either morale-depleted side to prevail with any real confidence is nigh-on impossible, so we can only foresee yet another share of the spoils. But if there was to be a winner, we think Klopp’s men may just edge this one, so we are going Liverpool double chance.
