Dundee vs Raith Rovers – Dundee

The first leg of our Tuesday treble sees the league leaders Dundee welcome Raith Rovers. Dundee look set to reclaim theirs spot in the Scottish Premiership just a year after being relegated.

Gary Bowyer’s men sit on top of the table and have a game in hand on Queens Park who currently sit just just below them and with a win against Raith Rovers they will go top by three points and have one hand on the title.

They come into this game in fine form, going unbeaten in their last five and will see this as a real chance to out some distance between themselves and second place. With Raith Rovers having not a lot to play for in mid-table and with home advantage in mind, we think they’ll do just that. A Dundee win for this one.

Man City vs Bayern Munich – Man City

The Champions League quarter-finals get underway with the English Champions hosting the German Champions in the game of the evening. The sides have met six times in total in the Champions League since 2011 and have come away with three wins a piece.

City, will be the slight favorites coming in to this one, being the home team and coming off the back of an 8-1 aggregate win vs fellow Germans RB Leipzig in the round of 16. However, Bayern breezed past PSG and looked every bit like contenders whilst doing so.

They looked fast and dynamic on the break. This one will be a real battle between two footballing philosophies and could go either way. Nevertheless, City have won eight games in a row and have been scoring at free will in recent weeks so we think they might just edge this one at the Etihad.

Benfica vs Inter Milan – Benfica

The final game of our Tuesday treble features another battle in the Champions League. This time we travel to the South of Europe to see Benfica host Italian giants Inter Milan. Ordinarily, Inter would be the heavy favorites coming in to this one but this isn’t the case this year.

The Portuguese side have been surprised many this year by topping a group consisting of PSG and Juventus without and loss, progressing past Club Brugge 7-1 in the round of 16 and have been tipped by many to go far into the competition. As well as this, until just a week ago they had gone unbeaten in the league all season as they look set to win their 38th league title.

Inter, in comparison, look less like a threat this year. They have won only once in their last five and currently face the risk of missing out on Champions League football in 5th place.

On top of this, they only narrowly scraped past fellow Portuguese side Porto in the round of 16 and for this reason we back Benfica to put on another show against one of Europe’s elites. A Benfica win for this one.
