Tottenham vs Bournemouth – Tottenham

Bournemouth travel to North London to play Tottenham in a big game at both ends of the table.

Tottenham have won their last five home games, but might count themselves lucky to have beaten Brighton last weekend, with some questionable refereeing decisions that impacted the game. They are unbeaten in their last four games, and Cristian Stellini will look to keep the winning run on at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

As for the Cherries, they won at Leicester on their last outing, but are unable to have any sort of consistency, having won three and lost three of their last six. However, those results have moved them three points clear of the dropzone, with that big six-pointer at the King Power Stadium going their way. They shocked everyone by going two goals up at the Emirates, before succumbing to the Arsenal pressure to lose 3-2.

Whilst we back Tottenham to win, it might not be as simple as many people think, but Spurs have won all of their five home games against Bournemouth so the fixture history might play a part in their success this weekend.

Everton vs Fulham – Everton

Fulham’s bright start to the season is being let down by their poor run in, and a tough trip to Goodison Park will do them no favours against Everton.

Everton might have struggled at Old Trafford, but their 1-1 draw against Tottenham showed a bit more fight in front of their home fans. Fulham did actually win on their last visit to Goodison, but that was their first in six games going back to 2012.

Four straight defeats for the Cottagers in the league has seen them slide down from looking at a chance of a European spot to 10th, eight points off 6th placed Aston Villa. No Mitrovic has hampered their attacking outlet, with five goals in their last six, only Leicester have less goals (four).

We think they’ll continue to struggle in the league, and Everton will push away from the drop zone with a win.

Southampton vs Crystal Palace – Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace look to follow up their 5-1 blitz of Leeds with another win against bottom of the table Southampton.

Since appointing Roy Hodgson, Palace have won both of their last two games and scored seven goals in the process, which is equal to their goal tally from their 14 games previously since the World Cup. They play a leaky Southampton side who have conceded 10 times in their last four games.

Southampton desperately need points from somewhere, and just four from their last nine home games is not a stat that want to be looking at. They will be low on confidence in comparison to the Eagles and we would be surprised if they got any points against a resurgent Palace side.

Crystal Palace to win is our choice for this one.

Rotherham vs Luton – Luton

Dipping into the Championship for our final leg of the FavFour, Luton travel to Rotherham with Luton pressing Sheffield United to snatch an automatic promotion spot.

Luton haven’t lost since their 1-0 defeat to Burnley and are unbeaten in their nine league games. They are also unbeaten away from home since December, losing just four times on the road this season.

On the other hand, one win in five for Rotherham have them remaining in 18th, just four points away from hopeless Reading in 22nd. They will want to achieve safety in the Championship as soon as possible, and points here would go some way to achieving that.

However, with the form Luton are on at the moment, we can’t see anything than a Hatters win, which is what we’re going for to round of our FavFour.
