Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest – Liverpool

After a terrible start to the season, Jurgen Klopp’s men look like they are starting to turn up in the business end of the season to try and sneak into the European places. After a 6-1 demolition at Elland Road on Monday evening, the Reds are now only three points off the European places with a game in hand and look set to battle it out with Brighton, Tottenham and Aston Villa for the remainder of the season. 

They welcome a Forest side who are in serious danger of relegation this year. Although they sit in the drop zone only on goal difference, they have gone winless in 10 games and have only managed to score seven goals in that time.

With a really tough run of fixtures to finish the season, they look like the most destined for the drop. With Liverpool coming into this one off the back of that dominant display against Leeds, we can only see one winner here. 

Crystal Palace vs Everton – Crystal Palace

Palace have had somewhat of a resurgence since Roy Hodgson started his second stint at the club last month. Since his arrival, they have won three on the bounce and have put some distance between themselves and the relegation battle.

The same can’t be said for Sean Dyche’s start to his time at Everton. Although the former Burnley manager got off to an incredible start, beating Arsenal 1-0 in his first game in charge, they have gone on to win only two of their following nine fixtures and have remained well within the mix for relegation this season. 

In the three Hodgson has been in charge of so far, they have been playing free flowing football and scored nine goals whilst only conceding twice. In front of a packed out Selhurst Park, we expect more of the same, with Palace to make it four wins on the bounce. 

Burnley vs QPR – Burnley 

Vincent Kompany’s side have already confirmed promotion this year but are desperate to confirm their title. Although they had a minor slip up in the last two games, drawing with Reading and Rotherham, they look set to do just that.

After those draws on the road, they now return to Turf Moor where they have been formidable all season. They have gone unbeaten at home all season and we can see that run continuing when QPR visit on Saturday afternoon. 

QPR had a decent start to the season but after managerial changes and reported problems behind the scenes, they have dropped to 21st in the table and run the real risk of relegation to League One. They are in terrible form, going winless in seven, so we can’t see them posing the looming champions too much of a problem. 

Wigan vs Millwall – Millwall 

With three games to go, Wigan sit bottom of the Championship and look destined to play in League One next year. They welcome a Millwall side who have snuck into the play-offs and are playing for the right for promotion this year.

Neither team come into this one in great form and both have everything to play for so it could be a toss of a coin to decide it. However, Wigan have looked for more suspect in defence this year and we think this may be their downfall. A Millwall win to help their promotion push for this final game.
