Football Accumulator Tips: Wednesday’s 7/1 Treble backs Man City win

Valencia vs Villarreal – Villarreal 

Villarreal travel to relegation threatened Valencia in the first game of Wednesday’s treble. Voro’s side are only floating above the drop by two points and with six games to go they run the real risk of falling into the relegation zone. To secure survival they will need to muster as many points as possible between now and the end of the season. They have won two of their last five, the best record in the bottom five, so they do still have hope. 

Unfortunately for them, they do have a tough run of fixtures to end the season, starting with Villareal on Wednesday evening. The Yellow Submarine are sitting pretty in 5th place and are set to qualify for Europe once more. They have won three of their last five on the road so we expect them to put on another good display here. Villareal to win is our pick.

Man City vs West Ham – Man City

After a triumphant victory over Arsenal last week, Man City have one hand on the title with six games to go. They have managed to stay with Arsenal for the majority of the season and have turned it on when it matters most. They will face Man Utd in the FA Cup Final later this month and play Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final, looking to achieve the treble. They have gone unbeaten since the start of February so we expect a long night for the Hammers. 

David Moyes’ side have managed to claw their way out of the relegation zone but they still run the real risk of being dragged back into it. With only five games to go they sit only four points clear, so every point won from now is crucial to their survival hopes. However, for this one we can’t see them laying a glove on a City team who are on an eight game winning run in the Premier League. City to win this one comfortably.

Liverpool vs Fulham – Liverpool & BTTS 

The final game of our treble sees Fulham travel to Anfield to face European Chasing Liverpool. Klopp’s men looked like they were set to miss out on Europe this year after a terrible start to the season, but after a resurgence in recent weeks, they have snuck into the top six. 

Fulham have had an up and down season. They made an excellent start to the season and were competing with the top six for a significant period. However, since the World Cup break they have taken their foot off the gas and have dropped down the pecking order. 

Liverpool have conceded in five games in a row, while Fulham have scored in four of their last five on the road so we think a both teams to score play holds real value here. With Liverpool in good form we’ve gone for them to win and both teams to score in this one.
