Football Accumulator Tips: Monday’s 6/1 Treble backs Liverpool MNF win

Sampdoria vs Empoli – Empoli

The first game in Monday’s treble sees bottom of Serie A Sampdoria welcome 14th placed Empoli. Sampdoria have won only three games all season and are set to play in Serie B next season. They have won only once in their last 10 matches so we can’t see them doing too well here. 

Their visitors come into this in much better form. They have won two of their last five but have struggled on the road in recent weeks. Despite this, Sampdoria look like a team who can’t buy a win so an away win is the pick for this one. 

Leicester vs Liverpool – Liverpool

The second game of our Monday treble sees European chasing visit relegation bound Leicester. Jurgen Klopp's side have seemed to hit form at the perfect time after a difficult year. They have won five on the bounce and gone unbeaten in seven, closing the gap on United in 4th place to only four points. 

Leicester, on the other hand, look set to play in the Championship next year. They’re two points off safety with three games to go, and with tough games against Newcastle and West Ham, they look likely to be one of the teams to face the drop this year. They have won only one of their last 10 at home so they come into this in extremely poor form. With Liverpool flying at the moment, we can’t see anything other than a Liverpool win. 

Real Betis vs Rayo Vallecano – Real Betis

The final game of Monday’s treble sees European chasing Real Betis welcome Rayo Vallecano. The hosts are sitting pretty in 6th with a game in hand on those around them as they look set to qualify for the Europa League. The visitors are always in a good position. They are 10th in the table and will have their eyes on 7th place and a spot in the UEFA Conference League.

They remain only two points behind Girona in 7th place but have a game in hand. A win on the road to Betis would propel them up the table and would put them in an excellent position going into the final games on the season. 

However, both teams come into this in fairly good form and with lots to play for, so it won’t be easy. Real Betis have been good at home in recent weeks. They’ve lost only once in their last six fixtures at home, with three wins so they will be tough to beat. Rayo Vallecano haven’t won away in six games so we cant see them posing to much of a threat to Betis. A home win for this final game.
