Man City vs Man United – BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals (in 90 minutes)

We kick off our Saturday treble with the final game of the English domestic season, the FA Cup Final. This will be the first Manchester Derby to take place in the FA Cup final, having last met at Wembley in this competition at the semi-final stage in April 2011.

Unsurprisingly, Pep Guardiola’s relentless City side are the heavy favourites, who are going for a treble which would make them the second English club ever to win the league, FA Cup and Champions League in a single season. Their results have dropped off understandably since winning the league title, which is down to rested first team players, who should feature in these upcoming finals.

This is Manchester City’s first appearance in the final since 2019, where they equalled the record for the biggest win in a FA Cup final.

The first club to win the treble are the ones who have the chance to stop Manchester City, and that is Manchester United. Their treble winning record of ’99 is under threat by their noisy neighbours. United suffered defeat the last time they reached the FA Cup final, losing 1-0 to Chelsea in 2018.

Only Marcus Rashford and David De Gea remain at the club of those who were in the starting XI five years ago, and they will want to be on the winning side this time around. They already have one cup in the bag this season in the League Cup, and beat Manchester City 2-1 in their last meeting at Old Trafford in January.

In both games this season, both teams have got on the scoresheet and over 2.5 goals have been scored in the match, and with Pep Guardiola’s side scoring 94 goals in the league campaign, with Erik ten Hag’s side scoring in all of their last four matches, we expect an exciting 90 minutes worthy of the spectacle that the FA Cup Final is renowned for.

Torino vs Inter Milan – Inter Milan win

Our second game sees us head over to Italy where Torino and Inter Milan play their final league match of the Serie A season.

Torino are currently in 8th but could drop as far as 11th based on other results, so they’ll want to win to complete a solid campaign, especially against an Inter Milan side who are looking forward to their Champions League final against Manchester City.

As for Inter, they are guaranteed Champions League football for next season, so this one might be seen as a dead rubber ahead of their more daunting challenge against Manchester City in the Champions League final. They might rest players, but a second squad is more than capable of getting the win, which the Nerazzurri will want to do as a confidence boost going into their first European final since 2010, where Jose Mourinho guided them to glory against Bayern Munich.

We are backing Inter to win considering they are the most in-form team in Serie A, winning five of their last six.

PSG vs Clermont Foot – Over 3.5 Goals

Our final game of the Saturday Treble sees Clermont Foot travel to the Parc Des Princes to face PSG in what will be Lionel Messi’s last game in the French capital.

PSG are already champions, but it has been a far from satisfactory season for the Parisian club with high expectations, after going out of the Champions League in March. There has been unrest at the club, and fans have been unhappy with Lionel Messi and Neymar’s contributions this season, as well as the board of the club. It is a dead rubber for them but they will want to put on a show to put the season behind them.

Clermont Foot also come into this knowing they have very little to play for. They have the same amount of points in their last six games as the hosts, but their eighth place position means they can only move down below Nice if they better the Clermont result. With that in mind, they’ll be thinking about their holidays rather than the result after a long campaign.

With that in mind, we think it could be a goal fest between the two sides: the last three meetings have featured 16 goals, an average of over five per match, so over 3.5 goals is a strong possibility in this one.
