Europa Conference League Final Bet Builder Tips

Bowen to score or assist in 90 mins

The first leg of our bet builder is banking on a Jarrod Bowen goal involvement. Whilst it has been an underwhelming season for the 26-year-old England international, which has seen his 22 Premier League goal contributions half from the previous campaign to 11 this time round, Bowen has still contributed in periods through the season. He is the third highest rated player in West Ham’s squad according to WhoScored.com.

He picked up a goal and assist in his last start before the end of the season against Leeds United and could be a good pick to get involved in the scoring in a tight game. Bowen has also managed seven goal contributions in the Europa Conference League this season, including winning the Hammers’ penalty against AZ Alkmaar in the first leg.

West Ham United to score 2+ goals in 90 mins

The second leg of the Bet Builder requires West Ham to score 2+ goals within 90 minutes. We are expecting a tight game in the final and chances may come at a premium; you only have to look at the 1-1 draw between Sevilla and Roma in the Europa League final to guess that a similar scoreline could be on the cards with nerves playing a major part.

However, West Ham - who have struggled in front of goal at times in the Premier League - have been comparatively free scoring in the Europa Conference League, scoring twice in eight of their 12 games in the competition. We think they have the capability to find the back of the net twice against a Fiorentina side who have kept just two clean sheets on their road to the final.

5+ West Ham United corners in 90 mins

The final selection for the Bet Builder to come off is 5+ West Ham corners. West Ham have won 207 corners from their 38 league games this campaign at an average of 5.45 corners per game.

In what could be a tense game where a set piece could make the difference, we expect some emphasis to be on winning corners and free kicks, which is why five corners for West Ham is a more than reasonable expectation within the regulation 90 minutes.

Corners could be equally important if the Hammers are trying to force extra time late on depending on how the game goes. Of the 207 corners that West Ham were awarded, Bowen took 43.4%, so there is a chance Bowen sets up a fellow Hammer to record an assist, simultaneously achieving two legs of the Bet Builder.
