DC United vs FC Cincinnati – FC Cincinnati 

Wayne Rooney’s United side are struggling for traction in the Eastern Conference and run the risk of missing out on the final series. They sit in 9th place in a final series play-off spot but remain on the same points as Charlotte below them, so a loss here could drop them out of contention. Unfortunately for them, they come into this in poor form compared to the visitors. They have won only twice in their last six and have lost three. 

Cincinnati on the other hand, come into this in the best form in the MLS. They have gone unbeaten in their last 10, winning eight, so we think another win is on the cards here. FC Cincinnati to win this one and extend their unbeaten record to 11.

Philadelphia Union vs Inter Miami – Philadelphia Union 

We stay in the Eastern conference for the next game of Sunday’s treble. Inter Miami may have just had some huge news break with the imminent arrival of  Lionel Messi, but for now they remain bottom of the conference, 12 points of making the playoffs. Will the arrival of Messi and co inspire them to a historic surge up the table? 

They travel to Philadelphia first the face 4th placed Union first, and we can’t see them getting a result here. Messi’s new side have lost six in a row and look in a real rut. With Union winning four of their last six, we can only see a Philadelphia win for this one.

Los Angeles FC vs Vancouver Whitecaps – Las Angeles FC 

Finally, we travel across to the West coast for Los Angeles FC vs Vancouver Whitecaps. The hosts are top of the western conference and are looking to win back to back titles this year. They are in decent form, with only three losses in the league all season, but have won only two of their last five, so they will be looking for a win today to extend their lead at the top.

Vancouver are just about in the final series playoff positions. However, with two games on the team below they will feel comfortable where they are. They have won only twice in their last six, so don’t come into this in flying form and have also conceded nine in that time. With Los Angeles at home, and Vancouver not in the greatest form, we think Las Angeles is the way to go.
