Argentina Women vs Sweden Women – Sweden win & BTTS

Argentina Women will look to seal their place in the last-16 of the Women's World Cup 2023 when they face Sweden Women on Wednesday.

Sweden, meanwhile, have already qualified for the knockout rounds and will now be hoping to wrap up top spot in Group G.

Argentina entered the final 20 minutes with a two-goal deficit, but they managed to claw themselves level thanks to Sophia Braun's long-range strike and Romina Nunez's clinical header.

Despite salvaging a point from their second group game, La Albiceleste are still left waiting for their first win at a Women's World Cup finals.

With the South Americans two points adrift of second-place Italy, they need to pull off a surprise win over Sweden to stand any chance of making the World Cup knockout rounds for the very first time.

Sweden, who are third in the FIFA World Rankings, have made an impressive start to the tournament, collecting maximum points from their opening two games.

Sweden have now reached the knockout rounds at eight of the nine Women's World Cup finals, and they will be guaranteed to progress as group winners if they avoid defeat on Wednesday.

We fancy Sweden to win this but with Argentina desperate to win this one and we can see them getting one goal but fancy Sweden to win it all.

South African Women vs Italy Women – Italy Women win

South Africa Women will trade tackles with Italy Women in their final group game of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup on Wednesday.

The African champions started the tournament with a 2-1 defeat against Sweden. They went ahead in the 48th minute but the Swedes fought back to claim all three points.

Banyana Banyana let their lead slip in even more harrowing circumstances in their second game against Argentina. They went two goals ahead through Linda Motlhalo and Thembi Kgatlana but two late goals from Argentina saw the spoils shared.

South Africa need to win this game to qualify for the knockout rounds. However, Desiree Ellis' side should have been in a more comfortable position, having been in the lead with less than 25 minutes to go in their opening two games.

Italy, for their part, would have had their confidence shattered by the hammering they received against Sweden. They will have to dust themselves off and get back to their feet as they seek to qualify for the round of 16. A draw might be okay for Silvia Bertolini's side but a win is ideal.

We are backing the Italians to claim a narrow win with goals to be scored at both ends.

Jamaica Women vs Brazil – Brazil Women win

Jamaica Women and Brazil Women will both be looking to secure a place in the last-16 of the Women's World Cup 2023 when they face off in Melbourne on Wednesday.

Brazil head into the final group game in third position, with one point separating them from the Reggae Girlz, who currently occupy second place.

Jamaica picked up a hard-earned point in their first game, as they held France to a goalless draw, before turning their focus to Saturday's meeting with Panama.

The Reggae Girlz had to be patient in search of the opening goal, and their persistence was rewarded in the 56th minute when Allyson Swaby headed home from Trudi Carter's cross.

Having picked up four points from their opening two games, Jamaica have the chance to pull off a major upset and knock out Brazil.

Brazil still have considerable work to do if they are to progress from the group stage for a seventh consecutive Women's World Cup.

After kicking off the tournament with a commanding 4-0 win over Panama, the Selecao looked set to take a point from Saturday's meeting with France when Debinha cancelled out Eugenie Le Sommer's opener, however, Brazil ended losing the game 2-1 and puts them in a serious position not to qualify.

Even though Jamaica have shown heart this tournament we fancy them to not qualify and be beaten by a Brazil team full of quality.
