Cuiaba EC v Flamengo – Over 1.5 Goals

Cuiaba host Flamengo in the first game from this treble, kicking off at midnight in the UK.

Flamengo are second in the division, but a big 12 points off Botafogo, despite being unbeaten in their last six games.

The hosts have won their last three, which means they’ll be a big clash between the two sides on Monday night.

There have been over 1.5 goals in three of the last four encounters between the two sides, and we think that trend will continue here today.

England Women vs Nigeria Women – Lauren James anytime goalscorer

The Lionesses must have the feeling they can go on and win the Womens World Cup down under following the exit of Germany and the USA, but they know they must stay focused against Nigeria on Monday morning.

They blew past China in their final group stage game, winning 6-1. Lauren James scored two wonderful goals, making that three for the tournament for her. She has been the star of the show for England, and is no doubt in a confident mood against Nigeria.

Nigeria are unbeaten, just like England, but they have won just once, beating co-hosts Australia 3-2, and qualified for the knockouts at Canada’s expense. This will be the second meeting at a international tournament, having faced off at the 1995 World Cup.

Following her three goals in the group stages, we think Lauren James will yet again be the one to watch on Monday morning for the Lionesses, which we expect them to win with James getting on the scoresheet.

Australia Women vs Denmark Women – Australia win

Our final treble game comes from the other round of 16 game between Australia and Denmark.

The Matildas qualified for the knockouts with a big win over the Canadians, and will want to book their place in the quarter-finals against either France or Morocco.

Denmark came second to England in Group D, with their only dropped points coming against the Lionesses, but they will want to show themselves against the co-hosts.

Australia will hope to have poster-girl Sam Kerr back amongst their side, after sitting out the group stages. If she features, it would be no surprise to see The Matildas qualify for the next round, and we think that’ll happen.
