Spain vs England – England to lift the trophy

European Champions England take on the side they beat on their road to the Euros in that competition, Spain, in the World Cup Final.

It is the first time they have reached the World Cup final and many eyes will be on the Lionesses on Sunday, as they look to complete their journey in Australia.

The last time these sides faced, England won 2-1, and Sarina Wiegman’s side has the chance to collect their first World Cup trophy with their European Championship from last summer.

The Lionesses are unbeaten throughout the tournament, whilst Spain were beaten by Japan in their opener. England also beat the co-hosts Australia in their own backyard to reach the final, and look like strong favourites to lift their first ever World Cup final.

It could be a historic moment on Sunday, with football “coming home” for the first time since 1966, and we think that the Lionesses will lift the prestigious trophy down under.

Aston Villa vs Everton – Aston Villa win

Fresh from their 5-1 battering away at Newcastle, Aston Villa will look to bounce back from their poor result with a win over Everton.

The Toffees started off this season as they finished the last, losing and struggling to score. Their 1-0 defeat to a Fulham side highlights there is a lot to do if they are to steer clear of the drop zone, especially considering the high xG racked up by Neal Maupay, struggling to find the back of the net.

Villa have purchased well with Diaby being one, and Zaniolo potentially also being on his way, and is a clear contrast to Everton who are persisting with Neal Maupay up top who has seen a massive decline in ability.

That aside, we think Everton will be put to the sword in a step up to Fulham, and Villa should be taking all three points with them.

West Ham vs Chelsea – Chelsea win

West Ham welcome Chelsea in the final game of the Super Sunday treble.

The Hammers play their first home game since their UEFA Europa Conference League success last season. They drew away at Bournemouth but will face a whole new challenge in Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side might consider themselves unlucky to not beat Liverpool last Sunday, and will want to get his first win under his belt.

It would be a surprise to see West Ham come away with anything from this one, but anything is possible and London derbies are always a tough one to decide, but it would be a statement to kick off Pochettino’s Chelsea campaign.

We think the Blues will get the win in this game in East London.
