Tottenham vs Sheffield United – Tottenham 

The first leg from our weekly FavFour accumulator comes from North London as Tottenham entertain Sheffield United in the Premier League at 3pm. 

Spurs have a great opportunity to continue their great start to the season as they welcome the Premier League newcomers, who are yet to get a win under their belt and will be coming to the capital eager to get their Premier League campaign up and running. 

Spurs are currently second in the league table with 10 out of a possible 12 points from their opening games, and this weekend they will look to keep that tally up with another three points. Under new manager, Ange Postecoglou, they have been playing very attractive and free flowing football with Heung-Min Son leading the line. 

Having scored 11 goals this season, it leaves them owning the joint-second top goalscoring record in the competition with Manchester City. 

Last time out Heung-Min Son completed a hat-trick in the role of a striker against newly promoted side Burnley. Spurs will be hoping for more of the same this weekend against a struggling Sheffield United side yet to find their feet amongst the heavyweights.

We predict Tottenham to continue where they left off before the international break and win this one.

Sheffield Wednesday vs Ipswich – Ipswich 

Ipswich Town are on the road this weekend as they travel north to Sheffield Wednesday, hoping to continue their fine form in the early stages of the season. Wednesday, on the other hand, have found life in the Championship tough, still winless in their opening five games. 

However, they have showed signs of recent improvement having held Leeds to a goalless draw away from home last time out. For the visitors, this was seen as an improvement but with one point to their name and goals looking few and far between, there are still plenty of reasons to be fearful this season. 

The Tractor Boys can’t be stopped this season and are very much enjoying their time back in the Championship as they have pocketed 12 points from a possible 15. 

Last time out, Ipswich had substitute Freddie Ladapo to thank as he bagged a brace in the second half against Cardiff City at Portman Road, helping them come from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

 Ipswich Town now sit a second in the table ahead of Gameweek six with four wins to their name already and we predict they will make it five wins this weekend .

West Ham vs Manchester City - Manchester City 

Manchester City travel to highflyers West Ham, who are having a brilliant start to the season under David Moyes and will be hoping that history doesn’t repeat itself when the 22/23 champions come to the London Stadium this weekend.  

Having won three and drawn just the one game this season, West Ham currently occupy a place in the top-four and will be facing a Man City who are also full of confidence, having a started where they left off last season and currently top of the league table once again!

With the Hammers unbeaten in the league, Moyes deserves an awful lot of credit given their start and taking them to their first European title since 1860. They will be hoping that they can kick on and find themselves winning domestic trophies and establishing themselves as a top eight team. 

However, City dealt with West Ham comfortably last season, beating the Hammers in both league games by an aggregate scoreline of 5-0. Unfortunately for West Ham, we expect more of the same this season.

Blackburn vs Middlesbrough - Blackburn 

The last of our FavFour selections comes from the Championship as Blackburn entertain league strugglers Middlesbrough. 

Middlesbrough have had a terrible start this season and it’s no surprise that the fans have been turning on the players and management this season, having gone from pre-season title contenders to early relegation contenders. Michael Carrick and his boys are winless this season and time is now against the manager to turn their early season form around and start climbing the league table. 

Rovers have had a mixed start the season, having picked up a seven points from their first five games, but will hoping to change things around from their last outing before the international break which saw them lose 3-0 to newly promoted Plymouth Argyle. 

Blackburn have struggled defensively at home, but we expect them to win against a Middlesbrough side who are low on confidence and struggling to find any sort of form this season.
