Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace - Moussa Diaby

Unai Emery’s Aston Villa are flat track bullies, particularly at home.

Burnley were dispatched at Turf Moor and Everton were thumped 4-0 at Villa Park this campaign.

Since the Spaniard took charge, Villa have won 78% of their home league games against sides they finished above in the table and I fancy them to win three points on Saturday.

Moussa Diaby has been their main threat this campaign topping the charts for goals and assists (3).

The attacker also ranks joint first for shots per game (2.3) and has racked up an xG of 0.90.

Man United vs Brighton - Evan Ferguson 

Goals should be plentiful at Old Trafford, the bookies have both teams to score at 4/11 as I write and with good reason.

The hosts finished their last game at the Emirates with Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans in defence, the latter is forecast to start on Saturday.

Manchester United conceded two late goals in that game. Even with their first choice backline, the Red Devils only clean sheet of the campaign came on matchday one.

Under Roberto De Zerbi, Brighton have averaged two goals per game on the road. So, it looks to be a question of which Seagulls player to back.

Evan Ferguson looks at the play. The frontman has bagged four goals in as many appearances this season from an xG of 2.40.

Tottenham vs Sheffield United - Cameron Archer 

Ange-ball has set the division alight on the run up to the first international break.

Tottenham’s slick, possession based football has been a joy to watch but the underlying data suggests their haul of 10 points have been fortunate. Fortunate in the sense they are overperforming their xG and underperforming their xGA.

No doubt, they should cruise to victory against Sheffield United but I think they are a little more vulnerable in defence then their odds suggest which is why there is some juice in Cameron Archer’s price for the Blades.

Archer hit the double in a dream debut for Sheff Utd (one was in fact an unfortunate Jordan Pickford own goal) and will come into this fixture brimming with confidence.
