The Tricky Trees suffered a narrow defeat against 10-man Manchester City last time out, while the Bees failed to create a buzz in Wednesday's EFL Cup loss against Arsenal.

When you couple Nottingham Forest's impressive home record in the Premier League with Brentford's iffy form, all the signs point towards a win for Cooper's side on Sunday.

Having lost each of their last three matches, the Bees look set to suffer a fourth successive defeat at the expense of the Tricky Trees, who will likely claim a narrow victory at the City Ground.

We can see both teams getting on the score sheet, regardless of Brentford bad form and over 2.5 goals in this one.

Blackburn vs Leicester – Leicester win

Leicester City make the trip to Ewood Park to face Blackburn Rovers looking to secure the victory that will strengthen their position at the top of the Championship standings.

At a time when the Foxes are in a three-way scrap for first place, Blackburn have dropped down to 14th position after successive defeats in the second tier.

Jon Dahl Tomasson's side have scored 17 goals in just three EFL Cup ties this season, setting up a trip to Chelsea in the last 16.

However, Tomasson will be far more concerned with Blackburn's form in the Championship, four defeats being posted in six outings to drop into the bottom half of the table.

There is an unpredictability about Blackburn that makes them a threat to most teams in the division. However, on this occasion, we can only see Leicester continuing on their way, posting a convincing win in the North West.

Roma vs Frosinone – Roma win

Currently looking down at their regional rivals in the Serie A standings, promoted Frosinone aim to deepen Roma's misery still further on Sunday evening, when the clubs clash at Stadio Olimpico.

While last season's Serie B champions have adapted well to Italy's top flight - losing just once so far - the Giallorossi are in crisis after a midweek humbling by Genoa saw them equal their worst points haul at this stage of a season since the 1990s.

Roma are unbeaten in their last 24 home games against promoted teams - racking up no less than 22 wins while averaging nearly three goals per game - another failure now would be unthinkable, also leaving plans for a top-four push in tatters.

Disjointed displays and dismal results have led to piles of pressure on Roma to collect three points on Sunday. Their modest visitors from nearby Frosinone will not roll over, though, and with some astute coaching and a sprinkling of on-loan talent they can frustrate their illustrious hosts at the Olimpico but we can see Mourinho’s Roma taking all three points in this one.
