Marseille vs Brighton- Aubameyang to Score Anytime

Brighton & Hove Albion face Marseille at Stade Velodrome in their second Europa League group-stage match. In their initial Group B games two weeks ago, the Seagulls lost their first-ever European match at home to AEK Athens, while Marseille played to an exciting six-goal draw with Ajax.

Interim coach Jacques Abardonado, appointed a day after Marcelino's departure, guided Marseille to a 3-3 draw against Ajax, showcasing their sided resilience with a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. 

Marseille's track record against English teams is not the best, winning only one of their last 15 competitive meetings against Premier League sides. Brighton, have had strong start domestically and will be hoping they bounce back from their home defeat to AEK Athens and replicate their impressive away performance at Manchester United. 

Brighton will be looking to avoid being the third English club to lose their first two European games, following Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa. We expect this to be a close game with goals from both sides.

SC Freiburg vs West Ham - West Ham Win

Freiburg and West Ham United face off, both seeking back-to-back wins in the Europa League group stage. West Ham’s only defeats this season have been against Manchester City and Liverpool, with David Moyes's side winning all other matches across competitions since August 20.

Despite scrutiny on Premier League teams' starts, West Ham's performances have been commendable. 

Last time out in Group West Ham secured a 3-1 victory, with Mohammed Kudus scoring his first two goals since joining from Ajax. West Ham have since recorded wins and clean sheets against Lincoln City and Sheffield United before their upcoming match in Germany. While West Ham remain in a transitional period, their resilience has shone through, notably in the comeback against Backa Topola. 

We expect West Ham to win this one and remain at the top of Group A.

Liverpool vs Union St Gilloise- Liverpool To Win Both Halves

The last of our Thursday treble comes from Anfield as Liverpool entertain Union SG in the Europa League group stage, aiming to rebound from a controversial Premier League defeat.

Currently leading Group E after a 3-1 victory against LASK Linz, Liverpool will be looking to extend their impressive home record in Europa League matches.

The Reds' 17-game unbeaten run in the Premier League came to an end in a dramatic and controversial 2-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur, marking their first loss in any competition since April. Amid ongoing VAR controversies, Liverpool will be seeking redemption in the Europa League against Union SG, a team they have never faced before.

Liverpool have won 15 of its last 21 Europa League home matches and secured victories in each of its last seven group-stage games in UEFA competitions. While Union SG boasts an impressive away form having lost one of their last five away matches and currently sitting second in the Belgium Domestic League 

Even if manager Jurgen Klopp decides to rest key players, Liverpool should have enough depth to secure maximum points and maintain their flawless start in Group E.
