Hearts vs Celtic – Celtic win

Celtic travel to Tynecastle to face Hearts in the first leg of our Super Sunday treble.

The hosts have had an inconsistent start to their Scottish Premiership season but will be most disappointed with a derby day draw that feels like a defeat prior to the international break.

With some tricky tests to come this and next month, Hearts will hope to use the capacity crowd at home to their benefit as they look to claim a long-overdue victory against the league leaders.

Celtic got over their European heartbreak by doing what they do best, dominate domestically. The Hoops have dropped points in just one league game so far this season, ironically in a goalless draw against a St Johnstone side bottom of the table, and remain unbeaten having won seven of eight Scottish Premiership matches this campaign. The target here is make that eight from nine.

Hearts will hope to provide a tough test at Tynecastle for Celtic. However, the Hoops won 2-0 on their last trip to Tynecastle and will aim to repeat - or better - that feat. A Celtic win is to be expected.

Aston Villa vs West Ham – Aston Villa win and Both Teams to Score

Aston Villa and West Ham lock horns in the only Premier League fixture of the day at Villa Park.

The hosts are unbeaten in four Premier League matches, and thrashed Brighton 6-1 in their last league contest at Villa Park. Their fans would love a similar showing against the Hammers to keep them around the top six.

As for the visitors, David Moyes’ West Ham side are unbeaten in their last four matches and held Newcastle to a 2-2 draw before the international break. They will also want to continue their good start which has them in seventh. They are unbeaten against Villa in their last 11 meetings, but that could very well change.

Both teams are in form so we expect both to get on the scoresheet, but Villa’s impressive home record this year is too good to look past.

Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao – Barcelona win

The final leg of today’s treble see’s Athletic Bilbao travel to face Barcelona.

Barcelona will have to win without the likes of Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Jules Kounde, which are big blows to them, but they should have enough to win here.

The visitors have been good this season and sit in fifth place at the moment after nine games played. They have lost just once since the opening day defeat to Real Madrid and this is another big test for them.

Barcelona have won all five of their games at the Olympic Stadium this season, and it would be no surprise to see them make it six, so that’s what we will back to finish off our treble.
