The first leg of this Tuesday Treble comes from League One, as Portsmouth travel to Cambridge United.

Pompey have been playing up to a very high standard of football this season, and remain unbeaten in League One. They have won their last six league games (won their last seven in all competitions) and have been very impressive, making them favourites for promotion to the Championship.

The hosts on the other hands haven’t won since a narrow win over lowly Reading at the start of September, and were beaten by a previously winless Cheltenham at the bottom of the table, scoring just their second goal of the season to take all three points.

If morale was low going into that one, the U’s must be feeling rock bottom, and a confident Pompey side should be able to take advantage of that and win here.

Blackpool vs Cheltenham – Blackpool win + Over 2.5 Goals

Back at Bloomfield Road after snatching a late point at promotion hopefuls Oxford, Blackpool welcome Cheltenham. The Robins will be in a relieved mood of their own after picking up their first win of the season last time out.

Blackpool’s last four league games at home have seen over three goals scored, and there is every chance they’ll take the positives from their draw at Oxford into this one.

Blackpool win to nil is an honourable mention considering Cheltenham’s horrific goalscoring record, but given they finally picked up their first three points of the season, there is every chance they could get on the scoresheet. It would be a shock to see them pick up any points away from home, especially at Blackpool, who have the joint 5th most points at home in League One.

The Tangerines should be winning this one, and there is every chance they can take advantage of the joint worst defence in the league and see over 2.5 goals in the game.

Sevilla vs Arsenal – Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score

Another away trip for the Gunners see them make the trip to Spain to face Sevilla.

The Gunners picked up a point at Chelsea after being outclassed for the majority of the game, following on a late win over Manchester City before the International break.

The only defeat they’ve encountered this season was their first away UCL trip to Lens, losing 2-1. Their 2-2 draw on Saturday evening means that both their last away game and last Champions League game would’ve seen this selection win, so there is every chance it happens once again.

As for Sevilla, they have drawn the last three games, including Saturday’s feisty 1-1 draw with Real Madrid, which saw eight yellow cards. Realistically, if they were to lose, it might prove a difficult task to qualify for the knockout rounds. They have finished third in the last two Champions League group stages they’ve competed in, and they’ll want to pick up a win and inflict another defeat upon Arsenal.

Given Sevilla have drawn three times and Arsenal drew last time out and lost on their last European trip, we can’t pick a winner between these two. We do think that both sides have enough to get on the scoresheet, which they did in both of their previous two, and there is every chance over 2.5 goals are scored in this one.
