Liverpool vs Brentford – Liverpool win

Liverpool welcome Brentford to Anfield for their latest Premier League encounter

The Reds will want to bounce back after midweek disappointment in France, losing 3-2 to Toulouse after a 1-1 draw with Luton. They had won their last three matches at Anfield and will want to make that another against the Bees.

Thomas Frank’s side have picked three straight wins in the Premier League, against Burnley, Chelsea and West Ham, and will be in a confident mood travelling to Anfield. However, they are yet to score at Anfield in their last two league encounters.

Liverpool’s defence has been shaky in recent games with the absence of Andy Robertson proving an issue, so a win to nil would be hard to back, but we do think Liverpool can match their last home results against the Bees and get back to winning ways in this one.

Aston Villa vs Fulham – Aston Villa win

The second game of this Super Sunday treble comes at Villa Park, where struggling Fulham take on high flying Aston Villa.

The hosts are unstoppable at Villa Park, winning all five of their home league games, only Liverpool and Manchester City have matched that stat.

In contrast, the visitors haven’t won away since the opening day of the season at Everton and their tally of nine goals is the joint lowest in the division. Scoring has been hard to come by for Fulham following the departure of Mitrovic in the summer, and it could be more misery for Marco Silva’s men.

It would be hard to go against the impressive home record of Unai Emery’s side, so we’re going to back them to win here and continue their charge up the table.

West Ham vs Nottingham Forest – West Ham win

The final leg of our Super Sunday treble sees West Ham take on Nottingham Forest

West Ham bounced back from consecutive defeats against Olympiacos and Brentford to beat the Greek side on Thursday night at the London Stadium. They will also come into this one knowing the last time they played Forest in East London, they won 4-0. Such a result might be hard to come by, but stranger things have happened.

As for Forest they have struggled away from home, winning just the one time. Their 2-0 win over Aston Villa will certainly boost the confidence of the team going to West Ham.

The Hammers are fairly reliable at home, despite their loss to Everton in their last home league game, and a Forest away win also seems unlikely. We’ll back David Moyes’ side to secure back to back wins on home soil against Steve Cooper’s side.
