Wolves vs Nottingham Forest – Wolves

Wolves host Nottingham Forest at Molineux in the first game of this Saturday FavFour.

Wolves beat Burnley 1-0 in midweek, Hwang Hee-Chan with the only goal. They are unbeaten in their last five at home, with wins against Manchester City and Tottenham, and securing draws against Aston Villa and Newcastle. A slow start to the season has hampered their place in the table, with four defeats from their first five, but they look to be picking up points more often now.

As for Forest, the pressure is on Steve Cooper big time. Four defeats in a row now marks the current longest losing streak of any Premier League side since their 2-0 win over Aston Villa at the start of November. A 5-0 result will do nothing but harm the board and fan’s faith in Cooper, despite positive chants from fans at Craven Cottage.

Wolves are on the up whilst Forest are in free fall. The hosts look to be a part of the best of the rest in midtable, where just three points separates them and West Ham in 9th position and should be beating an out of form Forest outfit. Home win for this fixture.

Sheffield United vs Brentford – Brentford

Brentford also face a club on the decline in Sheffield United on Saturday.

The Bees lost to Brighton in midweek but will hope they’ll be able to bounce back against the Blades. They have won just one of the last four games, a 3-1 win against Luton, but they go to Bramall Lane to play a side rock bottom of the Premier League.

Sheffield United saw Paul Heckingbottom depart and Chris Wilder re-enter the helm at Bramall Lane, but a tough baptism of fire against Liverpool meant that they were unable to turn their fortunes. A home game against Brentford might be more appealing to pick up points though.

We still think the hosts will struggle for points despite the change of manager, and Brentford should return to winning ways.

Sunderland vs West Brom – Sunderland

Without a manager after Tony Mowbray’s departure, Sunderland will hope they will be able to pick up a win against West Brom on Saturday afternoon.

Defeats against Plymouth, Huddersfield and a draw at Millwall saw the end of Mowbray, and the Black Cats will hope that has some effect against the Baggies.

West Brom suffered a late defeat against league leaders Leicester last weekend after a 93rd minute winner from the Foxes. They are unbeaten at the Stadium of Light since May 2014.

Sunderland might see the lack of manager as no problem as Mike Dodds takes charge, but they’ll have to be at their best against Carvahal’s West Brom side to win. We think they do so as the third selection of this FavFour.

QPR vs Hull - Hull

The final selection comes at Loftus Road, as Hull make the trip to West London to play QPR.

Hull are in 6th and are staking a big claim to promotion, having not appeared in the top flight since 2017. Despite a defeat to Watford last weekend, they’ve been progressing nicely up the table, and will want to create a gap between them and the teams below them.

However, QPR have won their last two and are on the up. Wins against Stoke and at Preston highlight the good work that Marti Cifuentes has done in the short period of time, losing just one of the last five games he has been in charge for.

The Tigers have won just one of their last five away league games as they prepare to make the trip to London on Saturday, but their position should give them motivation to pick up a result at an improving Rangers side. Hull to win is our final selection in this FavFour.
