Mark O’Haire starts with a betting angle for Wolves against Nottingham Forest, whose manager Steve Cooper finds himself under huge pressure to save his job.

Hwang Hee-Chan Over 0.5 Shots on-Target

Advised Bet: 1pt @ 5/6 Unibet

Wolves pushed 11 points clear of the Premier League drop-zone following their Tuesday night triumph over basement battlers Burnley. Hwang Hee-Chan scored the only goal of the game to take his Premier League tally to eight this season and the South Korea star looks an attractive option at 5/6 (1.83) with Unibet to land a shot on-target this weekend.

Despite pre-season predictions of doom around Molineux, the Old Gold have been impressive under Gary O’Neil with Hwang particularly eye-catching.  The 27-year-old has paid-out in this particular market in nine of 14 EPL outings when appearing for at least 30 minutes this season, with six of seven Molineux showdowns seeing our proposed play cash.

Nottingham Forest arrive at Molineux at a low ebb. The Tricky Trees have won once since early September and have suffered five defeats in six, including Wednesday night’s thumping 5-0 thrashing at Fulham. The visitors have been wretched on the road since promotion (W2-D6-L19) and are bound to be put under pressure.

Antoine Semenyo Over 0.5 Shots on-Target

Advised Bet: 1pt @ 11/10 Unibet

Manchester United produced their best performance of the season in midweek as they overcame Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford. The Red Devils were dominant from the first whistle, although Erik ten Hag’s team still appeared vulnerable to counter-attacks and transitions, giving up 1.52 Expected Goas (xG) and five Big Chances to the Blues.

That should encourage in-form Bournemouth on Saturday. The Cherries are W4-D1-L1 across their past six Premier League contests – only losing at Man City – with Antoine Semenyo providing plenty of menace from his wide forward position.

The former Bristol City youngster has been a real spark in Andoni Iraola’s effervescent outfit, landing a shot on-target in seven of his eight EPL starts this season. Across 12 league appearances in 2023/24, Semenyo is averaging 3.61 shots per-90, as well as 1.73 shots on-target, whilst Man Utd have faced the fifth-most attempts across the campaign.

Tomas Soucek Over 0.5 Shots on-Target

Advised Bet: 1pt @ 7/4 Unibet

Fulham have found form in recent weeks. The Cottagers’ 5-0 destruction of Nottingham Forest came hot on the heels of their impressive effort in a 4-3 reverse at Liverpool last weekend, as well as a 3-2 triumph when welcoming Wolves a fortnight ago.

Marco Silva’s men will bid to enhance that recent run when West Ham head to Craven Cottage on Sunday. The Hammers should be capable of competing and have been amongst the goals in the Premier League this season with Czech star Tomas Soucek proving particular influential in a more advanced midfield position of late.

Operating behind the striker in David Moyes’ 4-2-3-1 system, Soucek has thrived. With five goals in his last six club and country starts, the 28-year-old was denied a sixth successive strike by the offside flag last week. Having attempted multiple efforts in five of those fixtures, I’m happy to support bulbous quotes of 7/4 (2.75) for a shot on-target here.
