Luton Town succumbed to a remarkable comeback by league leaders Arsenal, losing 4-3, while Manchester City, the reigning champions, failed to secure any points against Aston Villa, enduring a 1-0 defeat last time out.

Despite Luton's promising performances, including a draw against Liverpool and a narrow loss to Tottenham Hotspur, there was hope they could disrupt the title race when Arsenal visited on Tuesday. However, with an attacking tally of 36 goals, Luton's optimism was tempered by the fact that two of their goals against Arsenal came from errors in Raya's display.

On the other hand, Manchester City, currently trailing Arsenal by six points, are dealing with a poor away record, having won only one of their last five Premier League away matches, losing three. While Luton earned respect by scoring three goals against Arsenal, the reliance on defensive errors raises questions, and facing a wounded Manchester City is expected to be a formidable challenge.

A well-rested Rodri typically signifies success for Guardiola's team, and despite Luton's commendable efforts at Kenilworth Road, they are likely to offer minimal resistance on Sunday.

Fulham vs West Ham – West Ham 

After both securing impressive victories in the midweek fixtures, Fulham and West Ham United aim to sustain their positive momentum in Sunday's clash at Craven Cottage.

The hosts showcased their attacking prowess by scoring five goals against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, while the Irons staged a comeback from a goal down to defeat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 a day later. Although Fulham didn't completely seal the fate of Nottingham Forest's under-pressure coach Steve Cooper, their dazzling five-star performance has intensified speculation about his future.

While West Ham are yet to secure their first clean sheet on the road in the Premier League this season, they have consistently found the back of the net in their last nine away matches and have won five of their last six encounters with Fulham. Fulham's most recent victory in this fixture dates back to New Year's Day 2014.

With Fulham rediscovering their scoring touch, fans anticipate another high-scoring match at Craven Cottage, especially considering West Ham's vulnerability to conceding goals away from home. Although both defenses are expected to face challenges, West Ham have been in excellent form both domestically and internationally.

Tottenham vs Newcastle – Tottenham 

The last leg of our Super Sunday Treblle is between Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United who are both seeking redemption for their midweek setbacks as they face off in in North London.

Tottenham suffered a a 2-1 home defeat to West Ham United on Thursday, while Newcastle endured a 3-0 shock against relegation-threatened Everton. The swift changes in fortune in Premier League football were evident, especially for Ange Postecoglou, who, after accumulating more points than any previous manager in his first 10 games, experienced a downturn, setting two unwanted competition records in the recent London derby against West Ham.

Postecoglou dismissed the notion of his team playing "good football" after they were punished for their inability to secure the match against West Ham. With only a draw against Manchester City as a notable result since the beginning of November, Tottenham now trails Arsenal by nine points at the top of the standings.

While Tottenham exhibited a lack of ruthlessness against West Ham, certain factors, such as a double deflection and a poor Udogie backpass leading to the Irons' goals, were beyond Postecoglou's control.
