Everton vs Fulham – Everton win (in 90 minutes)

Everton come into this game against Fulham off the back of four straight wins, all with clean sheets.

It’s been a remarkable run for Sean Dyche’s side, who looked in trouble following a 10 point deduction a few weeks ago, but have now won four straight games in the league.

As for Fulham, their defeat to Newcastle brought them back down to earth after consecutive 5-0 wins against Nottingham Forest and West Ham.

It was the Cottagers who emerged victorious when these sides met on the opening day of the Premier League season, but Everton look like a real side, and a chance to play at Wembley would go down very well with the Toffees supporters. We think Everton will progress to the semi finals of the Carabao Cup, and hopefully within 90 minutes.

Port Vale vs Middlesbrough – Middlesbrough win (in 90 minutes)

The lowest ranked sides left in the competition take each other on for a chance to put them even closer to a Wembley appearance.

Port Vale of League One have achieved an impressive feat in still being in the League Cup at this stage, despite being knocked out of the FA Cup. They put their disappointment behind them as they beat Wigan on Saturday to make it two league wins from two. They are a home win away from facing off against Premier League opposition in the semi-finals.

As for Middlesbrough, they are one of only four non-Premier League sides as of this season to have won the League Cup since the turn of the millennium, as they lifted the 2004 edition.

The visitors have stagnated in their push up the table, suffering four defeats in their last six league games, but they should still have enough to see off the League One side away from home. Boro to win within 90 minutes is what we think will happen.

Chelsea vs Newcastle – Both Teams to Score (in 90 minutes)

The treble finishes off with a big game at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea welcome Newcastle to West London.

Newcastle have struggled to win at Stamford Bridge in recent years. Their last win over the Blues was over 10 years ago, where Papiss Cisse scored two beautiful goals against a Chelsea side who went on to win the Champions League and FA Cup.

The Blues however haven’t beaten Newcastle since their 1-0 win over them in March 2022. Two defeats at St James Park and a draw at home on the final game of last season shows how the momentum has quickly shifted between these two, following their respective takeovers.

In two of those, including the meeting in November, both teams got on the score sheet. Both Chelsea and Newcastle have enough to get on the score sheet in this one, and we think that will happen in the 90 minutes. Both teams to score at Stamford Bridge to hopefully land this 11/2 Tuesday treble.
