Tottenham vs Everton – Tottenham win

Tottenham welcome in form Everton to North London as we kick off this festive FavFour.

Spurs are missing nine players through injuries and Destiny Udogie and Yves Bissouma with suspensions, so expect a depleted team. They got back to winning ways against Newcastle and won away at Forest, so they’ll be hoping for another win in front of their home fans to send them home happy this holiday season.

Everton’s league form is only bettered by Aston Villa, as they’ve picked up five wins from their last six games, including four consecutive clean sheets – the longest clean sheet streak any side has had this season in the Premier League. If you were to take away Everton’s 10 point deduction, they would be 10th, level on points with Brighton.

That being said, Spurs are more than capable of unlocking tidy defences. They beat Everton twice in their last two home meetings without conceding, and whilst Everton could get on the scoresheet this time round, we think a home win will be the result in this game.

Fulham vs Burnley – Fulham win

Carabao Cup semi-finalists Fulham return to league action at home to Burnley.

Since the last international break, Fulham have scored 17 goals in all competitions from six games, more than they had managed from the 14 games prior to that November break.

Marco Silva’s men are in form in front of goal, and they on a leaky Burnley side who have conceded the second most goals this campaign with 36 in their opening 17 games.

The history of this fixture has not been kind to Fulham in recent years, but they should beat a struggling Clarets defence after securing a semi-final appearance in the Carabao Cup. Another home win here we think.

Luton vs Newcastle – Newcastle win

Luton welcome Newcastle to Kenilworth Road, both in need of a lift.

For Luton, they come into this after the distressing scenes of their match against Bournemouth, where Tom Lockyer suffered a cardiac arrest, resulting in the game being abandoned. Fortunately, Lockyer is said to be recovering well in hospital and everyone at oddschecker wishes him all the best in his recovery.

Luton, prior to last Saturday's fixture, had lost their last three games, and are now five points behind Nottingham Forest in 17th. They need a win, and an injury-plagued Newcastle side who have lost four of their last five in all competitions could be a good opportunity to do so.

Newcastle have bowed out of the Champions League and League Cup in the space of a week, and a trip to Kenilworth Road could be a tough one. Nonetheless, we still think the away side get a result.

QPR vs Southampton – Southampton win

QPR welcome Southampton to Loftus Road as they hope to move out the bottom three before Christmas.

Rangers have been one of the better teams in the division in their last six, winning three games and picking up 10 points. Their late defeat to Sheffield Wednesday denied them the chance to move out the bottom three.

Southampton march into West London with them in a strong position to achieve a play-off spot. They are 10 points behind Ipswich in second but are nine clear of Sunderland in 7th. They’ll want to further their lead over the Black Cats with a win against struggling QPR.

We think, given the fact the Saints are on the longest unbeaten run of any team in the Championship, they’ll get a result at Loftus Road and hopefully land this 17/2 FavFour before Christmas and the Boxing day football action.
