17:30 Saturday Forest vs Man Utd

Chris Wood Over 0.5 Shots on-Target

Advised Bet: 1pt @ 4/5 Unibet

New Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo brought Chris Wood straight back into the fold and the rangy New Zealand international has repaid the Reds boss with a pair of excellent efforts leading the Forest line. The 32-year-old scored in the 3-2 defeat against Bournemouth before bagging a hat-trick in the eye-catching 3-1 success at Newcastle.

Wood has taken seven shots in those two fixtures, landing five attempts on-target, and the 6′3″ centre-forward holds plenty of appeal at 4/5 (1.80) with Unibet to have Over 0.5 Shots on-Target in Saturday evening’s City Ground showdown against Manchester United.

Only Luton have faced more shots on their travels than the Red Devils with Erik ten Hag’s team allowing 18.67 attempts per-game on average thus far. A tasty 5.22 of those have been on-target efforts and with a rejuvenated Morgan Gibbs-White and Anthony Elanga in support, Wood appears overpriced to work Andre Onana here.

14:00 Sunday Fulham vs Arsenal

Joao Palhinha to win 5 or more tackles

Advised Bet: 1pt @ 10/11 Ladbrokes

Joao Palhinha is a league of his own when viewing the tackle rankings of the Premier League. Fulham’s midfield mammoth is averaging an enormous 5.58 tackles per-90 this season – the next best from regular starters is Vinicius de Souza Costa with 4.00 per-90.

Palhinha has made a minimum of five successful tackles in 10 (67%) of 15 league starts this season, including five of seven when appearing at Craven Cottage. The Portuguese star therefore stands out at 10/11 (1.91) with Ladbrokes to make five or more tackles when Fulham face title challengers Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal’s opposition average 19.46 tackles per-game, a figure that increases to 20.33 when the Gunners play away in EPL action – with the ball-carrying ability of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Leandro Trossard and Kai Havetz in their ranks, Palhinha is likely to be busy in his role patrolling and protecting Fulham’s rearguard.

12:30 Saturday Luton vs Chelsea

Albert Sambi Lokonga to commit 2 or more fouls

Advised Bet: 1pt @ 8/5 Betfair

Albert Sambi Lokonga joined Luton on a season-long loan in September but the Belgium international has found opportunities hard to find with injury effecting his involvement. However, the 24-year-old has recently returned to the fold, making a big impression in back-to-back starts during the Hatters’ memorable victories over Newcastle and Sheffield United.

The defensive midfielder was inspirational in his defensive midfield role, earning rave reviews for his efforts breaking up play an recycling possession. Lokonga will therefore be key for Luton if they’re to enhance their recent run when Chelsea arrive at Kenilworth Road for Saturday’s early kick-off.

I’m happy to support Albert Sambi Lokonga to commit two or more fouls at 8/5 (2.60) with Betfair, a total that’s been breached in three of his four starts in Luton colours. The combative destroyer should have plenty of opportunity to break-up play with Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer returning for the Blues, whilst Christopher Nkunku is fit to feature.
