Lazio vs Roma – Over 2.5 Goals

A feisty Rome derby takes place in the quarter finals of the Coppa Italia, as Lazio and Roma face off at the Stadio Olympico in Rome.

There have been a whopping 39 cards in their last six meetings, including four red cards, three of which came in the same game.

Lazio have won their last three games whilst Roma haven’t won in the league since their 2-0 win over Napoli just before Christmas.

They got past Genoa and Cremonese respectively to reach this stage. Lazio’s last two games have seen over 2.5 goals, whilst Roma’s 2-1 win in the previous round was also over 2.5 goals.

These matches tend to be very stop start with the cards being dished out. The last three games have seen just two goals scored, but we think both teams will be in a scoring mood tonight, so we’ll back over 2.5 goals in 90 minutes in this Coppa Italia matchup.

AC Milan vs Atalanta – AC Milan win (in 90 mins)

AC Milan welcome Atalanta to the San Siro in this Coppa Italia quarter final.

When these sides last met, it was the visitors who ran out 3-2 winners, thanks to a 94th minute winner from Luis Muriel.

The hosts have won their last two meetings at the San Siro and ran out 4-1 winners against Cagliari in the Round of 16, so you would back them to get a result here.

Atalanta saw off Sassuolo in their previous round and will be no pushovers in this one.

Given the fact AC Milan have won four of the last six meetings against Atalanta and are unbeaten in their last six games, they should be beating Atalanta. AC Milan win in 90 minutes is our prediction.

Liverpool vs Fulham – Liverpool win + Over 2.5 Goals

Our last fixture of this treble sees the first leg of the second Carabao Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Fulham.

Liverpool have a depleted squad without Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Wataru Endo for this tie through international call-ups and injuries, but as shown in their impressive 2-0 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup 3rd Round, they have enough depth to progress in this competition.

As for Fulham, a big 2-1 win against Arsenal on New Year's Eve coupled with a 1-0 win over Rotherham to secure their spot in the FA Cup 4th Round has given them momentum going into this tie.

A first trip to Wembley since their 2020 Championship play-off win beckons for the Cottagers, and they’ll want to keep the score low going into the second leg.

We think Liverpool will win and there will be over 2.5 goals in the game. Fulham will be unable to keep the score tight ahead of the second leg at Craven Cottage in two weeks' time.
