Bristol City vs West Ham – West Ham 

After thwarting his former team's advancement in the FA Cup, Bristol City manager Liam Manning now aims for an even more significant victory against West Ham United in the third-round replay at Ashton Gate on Tuesday. 

The Robins managed to come from behind and secure a 1-1 draw against the Europa Conference League winners in their initial encounter.

Despite Bristol City's current four-match winless streak, West Ham have also strung together an identical unbeaten run. Impressively, the Hammers haven't suffered an away FA Cup defeat to a lower-league team in five years, with their last loss occurring in 2019 against AFC Wimbledon in a 4-2 defeat.

Recalling their recent visit to Ashton Gate in a knockout setting, West Ham have positive memories as they emerged victorious with a 1-0 win in the fourth round of the 2014-15 tournament.

This triumph extended their unbeaten run on Bristol City's home turf to six games since a 3-2 loss in 1977.
However, Bristol City have displayed some lackluster attacking performances recently, and despite their commendable effort in the previous encounter, they may succumb to a defensive masterclass from West Ham at Ashton Gate.

Bolton Wanderers vs Luton – Luton 

After playing to a goalless stalemate in their initial clash, Bolton Wanderers and Luton Town are set to face each other once again on Tuesday evening, vying for a spot in the FA Cup fourth round. 

The inability of either side to find the net at Kenilworth Road necessitated a replay to determine the team progressing to round four. Currently holding the third position in the League One table, with just two points behind the leaders Portsmouth, Bolton boast a rich FA Cup history, clinching the trophy on four occasions.

In their recent encounter earlier this month, Bolton demonstrated their ability to compete evenly with Luton, setting the stage for another closely contested match. 

While Bolton possesses the quality to secure victory, there's a sense that Luton might find a way to advance into the fourth round of the competition.

Barnsley vs Carlisle – Barnsley 

Barnsley will be eager to extend their impressive unbeaten streak to 10 matches in League One as they host Carlisle United at Oakwell on Tuesday night. 

Positioned sixth in the table, the Tykes have amassed 46 points from their first 25 matches this season. In contrast, Carlisle finds themselves in 23rd place, struggling with only 20 points from 27 matches in a challenging campaign thus far. 

Barnsley have been solid at home, accumulating 21 points from 13 league games, while Carlisle hold the undesirable distinction of having the worst away record, managing only six points from 13 fixtures on the road.

With Barnsley showcasing significant quality in their forward positions, particularly with Cole and McAtee who are prolific goal-scorers, expectations are high for the home side to overpower their opponents on Tuesday night.
