Football Accumulator Tips: 13/1 Super Sunday Treble backs Solanke home goal

Sheffield United vs West Ham – West Ham win

The first of these three treble selections comes between Sheffield United vs West Ham at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United are still struggling at the bottom of the table under Chris Wilder, but their performances have notably improved. In the six games Wilder has taken charge of, they’ve picked up four points, which isn’t fantastic, but considering three defeats came against Liverpool, Chelsea and the latest defeat against Man City, you could understand the results. What wasn’t helpful was blowing away leads against Aston Villa and Luton, drawing and losing respectively.

As for West Ham, they need to bounce back from defeat against Bristol City in the FA Cup, after a winless start to 2024. They ended 2023 with a win against Man United and Arsenal, before a goalless draw against Brighton a few weeks ago. Jarrod Bowen is predicted to start which will definitely boost the Hammer’s chances of winning, but they’ll need to be at their best to pick up three points.

We think they’ll do so and will back them winning as the first selection on this Super Sunday Treble.

Bournemouth vs Liverpool – Dominic Solanke anytime goalscorer

Our second selection comes from the second Premier League game of the day, as Liverpool travel down to the Vitality Stadium.

The hosts are one of the most inform sides at home, winning three of their last four home games. Whilst we think they stand a tough chance of winning against top of the league Liverpool, our selection is for a Dominic Solanke goal in the game.

Solanke is one of the hottest forwards in the league at the moment, with 12 goals this season. That’s the same number as Heung-Min Son and one more than countryman Jarrod Bowen, making him the highest scoring English player in the division.

He’s scored five goals in his last five home games and whilst the extra motivation of scoring against his former employers in Liverpool is there, he has not scored in seven attempts against Jurgen Klopp’s side. Bournemouth have found the net in their last 11 league games though, and they beat Liverpool in this meeting last season, winning 1-0.

Liverpool very well might get the win in this encounter, but we think Solanke will get his name on the scoresheet for the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium.

Real Betis vs Barcelona – Real Betis Double Chance

Our final game comes in Spain, as Barcelona take on Real Betis in La Liga.

This selection might seem bizarre considering Barcelona have won the last five encounters at Estadio Benito Villamarín, but we think they might struggle to win on this occasion.

Betis are seven points off Atletico Madrid in 5th, and 10 points away from their opponents on Sunday. Pellegrini’s men did win their last game against struggling Granada, so they’ll want to carry that momentum against Barcelona. Betis are also unbeaten at home in the league this season, with their lack of wins away from home proving difficult.

As for Barca, Xavi is feeling the pressure at the helm with his side fourth in the table and won unconvincingly against third tier opposition in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals. They also suffered a humiliating El Classico defeat in the Spanish Super Cup, losing 4-1 to Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia.

Given the fact Betis are unbeaten at home, and Barca are not playing well as of late, Betis double chance might be a shrewd choice to finish off our Sunday treble.
