Brighton and Wolves face off in the Monday Night Football as the first selection of this treble.

The Seagulls are renown for De Zerbi’s attacking approach and have scored the sixth highest goals in the league so far, more than Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as more than rivals Crystal Palace and rock bottom Sheffield United combined. They scored four on their last home game against Tottenham, winning 4-2, and scored four in their FA Cup 3rd round tie at Stoke.

As for Wolves, goals are a frequent occurrence of their games. Seven of their last eight away league games have seen over 2.5 goals scored, with Wolves scoring four goals at Brentford in their last league away game. They are on a three game winning run in the Premier League and that could continue against the Seagulls, acting as revenge for their 4-1 battering to De Zerbi’s side back in August.

Brighton are in form infront of goal and Wolves are on a good streak in the league. It makes it a tough one to call in terms of outcome, but we do think there will be goals in this one. Over 2.5 goals is our prediction.

Leicester vs Ipswich – Leicester win

It’s top against third in the Championship, as Leicester welcome Ipswich.

Seven points separate these sides and given these sides drew in their last encounter, a win for the Foxes here would essentially make it Leicester’s title to lose. They’ll want to bounce back from their defeat to Coventry last week.

As for the Tractor Boys, their barren run without a league win in five games came to an end as they beat Sunderland. They’ll want to get back to winning ways to maintain their lead over the teams below them, notably Southampton who are closing in.

These two sides have been by far the best sides in the division this season and a spectacle should unfold. As for result, we think the hosts will bounce back from their poor showing last week and win here.

Granada vs Atletico Madrid – Atletico Madrid win

Our final fixture from this treble sees Atletico Madrid travel to Granada in La Liga.

Granada are having a woeful season at the moment, with just two wins and 11 points so far. Only bottom of the table Almeria have conceded more goals than Granada’s 41 goals conceded, which has been a main factor as to why they are so far down the table.

Atletico Madrid should have no real problems winning here. A win could take them into 3rd (depending on Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao’s weekend results) and they’ll want to push on in the league.

They put Real Madrid to the sword after their Super Cup defeat in the Copa del Rey and will be coming into this off the high of that derby win. Their three defeats in their last six have come against the teams above them in Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and Girona, so they’d be expecting three points against relegation fodder.
