After their big win over Middlesbrough in the League Cup semi-final second leg, it’s a quick turnaround for Chelsea who welcome Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge.

Both teams got past Championship opposition to reach the 4th Round, with Villa edging past Chelsea’s League Cup semi-final opponents Middlesbrough, whilst the Blues dispatched of Preston by four goals to nil.

Momentum is high after five wins in Chelsea’s last six games. They have struggled against Unai Emery, as the Villans have the edge in the last two competitive meetings, both at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea beat Aston Villa on their way to the 2022 League Cup final on penalties, and with a potential European spot on the line, both these sides will be keen to secure their place in the 5th Round draw.

With that in mind, we think Chelsea will end their recent poor form against Villa and win here.

Bristol City vs Nottingham Forest – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

Another Premier League team in Nottingham Forest await Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

The Robins knocked out West Ham in the last round after their 1-1 draw and the visitors needed a replay to beat League One opposition in Blackpool.

Across both of those ties between the Tangerines and Forest, both teams scored with over 2.5 goals in both. There have been over 2.5 with both teams scoring in Forest’s last six games.

With Bristol at home, it could go anyway, but given Forest’s good attacking record but dodgy defensive form, there is every chance both teams get on the scoresheet with over 2.5 goals in the game.

Tottenham vs Man City - BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

The headline game from Friday and arguably the entire FA Cup round comes from North London, as Tottenham welcome Man City.

Their latest meeting between these two saw a 3-3 draw at the Etihad, a game which many expected the hosts to win.

Tottenham do have dominance over City at home though, winning all five games that they have played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium without conceding. Man City will want to buck that trend if they are to progress to the next round and give them the chance to retain their trophy in May.

Given the recent meetings between the two sides, we think a goal fest could be on the cards. Over 2.5 goals with both teams scoring is our prediction for the final leg of this Friday FA Cup Treble.
